me watching hannibal for the first time:

pink, peeling, crafted.

running through lucy’s hair as she ties forget-me-nots into auburn braids.

wiping edmund’s tears away after another battle where another person’s blood is on his hands and she needs to take the stain away.

shaking peter’s hands, smooth and unweathered with age, as if they are co workers and not siblings.

covering her mouth so that she doesn’t scream the name of her made up god when she sees lucy’s hair (tangled and bloody and ripped off the little girl’s scalp) and edmund’s face (so much like her own but his is crushed and bruised and his eyes will never open again) and peter’s hands (twisted as if he was reaching out for her - as if he knew she was there)
