vi (almost equal to) ix

My series of graphic polaroid photos (made at the real size of polaroid photos, 4.2 x 3.4 in), which I started the summer before last and is still on hiatus. My plans were ambitious, but then there was a lot of stuff, and, well... I actually really want to get back to this project because I love working on miniatures ~

In the game, we see Nathan at his lowest point, and his work reflects all this complex brokenness of his inner world, but in other circumstances, if he had the opportunity to find inner grounding and some peace, it'd be quite interesting to look at his work. It'd obviously still be a sharp contrasting tonal but now less destructive, and actually much closer to Max's work than it might seem, the same search for moments of life, time, its stops and its movement. They're both very emotional photographers; despite a certain visual stillness of their work, they're full of movement. And I think I can find a lot in common with both Max's and Nathan's work, and so now I think that I shouldn't just return to this project - I should do a separate 'Nathan shoots on black&white film with Max's Polaroid' project ~
