Some might say you left her in pieces, but that would mean she was unbroken before. No, you were just another one to trample on the pieces that lay already shattered on the floor.

Just like the roman empire wasn’t built in a day, there was no way that she could wake up tomorrow and be completely changed.

Some scars never heal. They only fade.

She was a hurricane displayed as wind.

Sometimes she held her breath a little too long, thinking she could freeze the time if she could just stop herself from breathing for a moment.

She tends to lose her mind As she pretends to be fine Because still after all this time He is the only thing on her mind.

Seems like everything kills her these days.

She tends to be the odd one out, the black one in a sea of blue.

She tends to play and act, so that the people around her won't react.

As she went on from day to day Her world turned darker Her will to live faded away.

Maybe on some nights we put on show, what doesn’t get through to the daylight. In those long and dark nights I feel at ease, but if you’d lie right next to me in bed, I’d know that I had finally found what everyone calls home.

She was well aware that she was lacking in so many things. She was the one who was the hardest on herself. Maybe she didn't even know how to treat herself kindly, and show herself that she was worth of so many things. In her opinion, she was an easy woman. Someone who easily forgot her principles and boundaries. Someone who was only ever capable of disappointing others.

She may be a sinking ship, with lags that make her go down to the sea ground even further, but this doesn’t mean she's a lost case. This doesn't mean that her presence will cease to exist. One day, some diver will find the shipwreck at the ocean ground and see its long lost beauty. In this world she will have to be that someone to herself. She has to save herself. Sometimes from this world and other times from herself.

Day in day out, she felt like it was her against the universe. Her always being the one holding onto the loosing end. But she rather fought against the universe than the demons that were living inside of her.

She was always on the side lines, Didn’t know how to make herself shine.

More often than just in the light of the day she could see that she wasn’t cut out to be in this place. That’s partly the reason why she was constantly trying to find an escape. And it didn’t matter if “escape” meant slowly destroying herself.

She knows that a single person could change her life. Just by entering the same room that she rests in, someone she has never seen before could change her life, her view of everything. And it makes her feel funny inside when she thinks about the possibility that she could be that life changing someone for someone else, too. In that way, we all affect each other in different ways. Sometimes in more significant ways than in other times. But never do we know how strongly we affect each other.
