In the very first The Bad Guys book, their first successful good deed is freeing a bunch of dog dudes from prison.

Throughout the book series, there is a recurring news reporter, Tiffany Fluffit, who continues to slander the group as evil criminals despite them gradually getting overwhelming public support, and only realizes how her bigoted views towards them have blinded her after someone exploits her views to screw the heroes over.

Everything about the central premise as I had mentioned carries on throughout the film and is in the third act as well. Including how the film ends.

Wolf only goes along with Kitty's plan because he wants to protect Diane and give his group a chance to turn their lives around. He's trying to turn his blackmail into an opportunity to get the respect he's looking for because up until then, their lives as "reformed criminals" has not been working out. They have been discriminated against when looking for work, they can't make rent or bills, and everyone around them seems prepared for them to re-offend. In fact, the moment it looks like they are, they are once again treated as criminals.

Kitty had been racially profiled as a "monster" ever since she was a child due to her sharp fangs and claws, to the point that no matter what good she tried to do, she was only overlooked, and her classmates only cared about her the moment she played into those expectations. Her heist was never about getting rich from stealing all the world's gold. It was about punishing society for casting her out from the beginning, to show them "I don't need your approval or respect, I will get my way." And she can't fathom why Wolf and his crew, one of the greatest criminal capers in history, would give all that up for a society that will never give them the respect they want. To Kitty, if they'll never respect you, then fear will work just as well.

Diane had gotten sick of living life the way she had been predisposed to living - as a notorious tricky fox thief - and buried her past so she could live the kind of life she really wanted by helping people. She canonically saved the world from climate change. Yet not even she is safe from discrimination. All the goodwill she had earned from her past few years as Governor evaporates the moment the video exposing her as the Crimson Paw goes online. No one questions the legitimacy of the video, no one asks why a thief would give up their life of crime to become an honorable politician. She's immediately seen as the "tricky fox" once again.

I saw a pro life woman criticize Joseph Smith and make a joke about the Catholics, Orthodox, and Protestants setting aside their differences when someone mentions Joseph Smith and her comments were full of Mormons criticizing her, saying she wasn’t Christ-Like for alienating so many people or making fun of an entire religion. They said she shouldn’t criticize them because they were pro life, too. Do you know what Jesus did to the Pharisees? He called them broods of vipers. White washed tombs. He turned over the tables in the Temple. Vipers eat their mothers from the inside out and white washed tombs look visually appealing and put together but are full of death and decay.

Mormonism, the LDS Church, is not Christianity. They do not follow the God of the Bible. They follow the God of Mormonism, which is an entirely different God.

Just because you are right to be pro life doesn’t mean you have right theology or that you even worship the right God. Truth trumps political parties or ideologies and the truth is that Joseph Smith’s religion is a scam. Just like I will tell off a pro life person who thinks its okay to call women who have abortions whores and that the main issue is that women need to close their legs, I will criticize Mormons for calling themselves Christian.

It is, in fact, Christ-life to call out false teaching.

And I don’t care if Mormons come on this post, criticizing my wording or telling me I can’t criticize the Mormon Church. I’m tired of dancing around language for people who are told that disagreement with Mormon doctrine means you lose your salvation. I’m tired of being gentle with people who willfully close their eyes to the truth. I’m tired of being kind to people who gang up on someone, who is telling the truth, and accuse them of not being Christ-Like.
