There are several kinds of "normal" that people might mean when they say "normal". There's the "normal" where a thing isn't particularly unual, you might be surprised to hear that it's happened to someone you know, but it's not so unusual that you would question whether they're sure that it was that, and not something else.
Then there's the "normal" that means that the thing predictably Just Happens, nobody has to do anything wrong or weird to make it be like that. It's normal in the sense of being a morally neutral, expectable thing.

The Penumbral nightmare, or previously known as the Grinning spectre. A fierce beast that lurks amongst the darkness like a phantom and preys on those who fall for its striking, light blue and teal patterns. This monstrous creature can pop its jaw open for intimidation displays, and its lack of firepower is made up for the use of a very corrosive, foul smelling gel that is ejected from its throat.
