Been quite busy these past few weeks working in my submissions for the “save the bees”poster contest by @hollowtreehoneyfoundation. Here are my 6 11x14 submissions. 4 are straight digital art, while 2 are watercolors. I learned so much about bee conservation, namely- 1. Bees are responsible for 1/3 of the US diet 2. Bees are responsible for so many foods we take for granted: onions, asparagus, watermelon, broccoli, and even the plants that cattle eat. If no food for cattle, no cattle! That means no beef or dairy!!! You thought paying $8 for eggs was bad, imagine paying $30 for a Big Mac.. - bees are responsible for avocados!! That means no more guacamole 😭 - planting trees or a garden, going pesticide-free, and not tilling land all help save bees. On to the next project!
