it’s mostly flexible, but some are implied in the skeletons. here’s a breakdown:

upper class background: antony, brutus, lady macbeth, romeo

scholarship students: cordelia, hamlet

in general, yes, but i would say not to apply for a muse that you don’t feel fully inspired by ? like, if there’s only one muse you really want to play, then i suggest going all in on that. i wouldn’t want you to wind up accepted as your “backup” character and not be as into it.

This story is a bit like one you already know. A bump in the night that awakes you from a peaceful slumber, the visage of someone long dead staring over you. You’re so groggy that it could easily be a dream, but you see her clear as day, the ghost of Octavia Preston.

“They arrested Lysander over a year ago. He’s locked up for life.” Hasn’t this chapter already been closed?

But no, that’s not what Octavia WANTS. She wants you to avenge her murder, this time by tracking down the correct culprit. She insists Lysander is innocent. But ghosts aren’t real, right? It’s only a dream.

Spectre is a twelve character skeleton roleplay that takes inspiration from Shakespeare and Netflix’s Elite. It takes place a semester after the murder of Octavia and the conviction of her boyfriend, who were both part of the same secret society as the characters in this group. After the characters start to see Octavia’s ghost, they begin to reinvestigate her murder, wondering if the killer might still be among them. Season one will focus on the muses exploring the supernatural afterlife, finding the true killer, and the drama that unfolds.

octavia does not have a fc yet in order to give romeo’s player freedom with their muse and backstory. her fc will be chosen after acceptances.

she is a year younger, she was a sophomore ! she had just turned 19. for reference, lysander was a senior and is older than hamlet. there’s a case file on the main page that has this kind of basic info.
