I'm delving back into Alden Amos' book and I am immediately struck by this:
Procedure: what you do
Technique: how you do it
Equipment: what you do it on
And I immediately thought about this in the context of classical violin and fiddle. Like, I think a lot of beginners worry about technique and, to an extent, equipment but don't really consider procedure, but that's an important part of music tradition! I will have to ponder how to best incorporate this into my own work
(I am tempted to make a sideblog for my spinning but also I roleplay as an elf. Hobbies are weird.)
