š A Cry for Help: My Familyās Struggle to Survive in Gaza š
Hello, my name is Areej Kassab. Iām a 27-year-old English teacher and writer from Gaza, and Iām reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a desperate plea for support. My family and I are enduring unimaginable hardships as relentless bombings devastate our home and our dreams.
We are a family of 15ā10 adults and 5 children. Every day is a battle for survival. Food is scarce, humanitarian aid is not reaching us, and my little nieces and nephews go to bed hungry. Among them is my sister, who is deaf, and another sister who has a newborn baby. They, too, are suffering in this crisis, and Iām doing everything I can to protect and provide for them.
š A Life in Ruins
The war has robbed us of everything: safety, peace, and even the hope of a future here. My familyās needs are basic yet criticalāfood, clean water, diapers for the babies, gas for cooking, and other essentials to make it through each day.
With rising prices and limited access to necessities, we are struggling to provide even the most basic items. My sisterās home has been destroyed, and we are working together to ensure everyone has shelter, food, and warmth.
⨠My Plea for Your Support āØ
Iām a writer, and Iāve been documenting the harsh realities faced by my community under siege. But words can only do so much. We need action, and we need help. Your kindness can save us.

Share Our Story: If you canāt donate, please share this post to help us reach others who can.

Hello, my name is Saja. Iām a mother to a beautiful 8-month-old baby girl, writing this from a place I never imagined Iād be ā surrounded by destruction, holding on to my daughter while the world around us falls apart. š
We used to have a home. š A simple place, but it was filled with love. Now itās gone. What remains are memories, silence, and an overwhelming fear of what tomorrow may bring.
Each day, I wake up not knowing if we will make it through the next. My daughter should be learning to walk, to smile at strangers, to feel safe in her world ā but instead, sheās learning to live in the middle of a war zone. šļø
Iām not writing this to ask for pity. Iām sharing our truth because silence wonāt protect us. Maybe, through this message, someone will hear us ā and care. š¤
If you feel moved to share our story or offer support, it would mean more than words can say.

Hi there š±
I hope you are doing well. My name is Naser, and Iām from Gaza. I donāt want to make anyone uncomfortable, but I wanted to share a piece of my story ā because right now, itās the only way I know to try and survive.
This war has changed everything. I lost my mother and my sister. Our home is gone. What used to be a normal life ā school, family meals, laughter ā has been replaced by fear, rubble, and silence.
Now, Iām displaced with my three younger brothers. Iāve become their protector, their parent, their hope. We sleep side by side and I try to make them feel safe, even when Iām scared too.
We are trying to raise funds to rebuild our lives ā to find a safe place, to go back to school, to have something to believe in again. I dream of going to university. My brothers have their own dreams too ā of being a doctor, an engineer, just being kids again.
If youāre able to support us by donating š or even just sharing our campaign š, it would truly mean the world. Every small act of kindness brings us a little closer to hope.

Iām a survivor from Gaza, holding on to hope in a world that has fallen apart around me. š
The life I once knew ā my home, my family, my sense of safety ā has been shattered by war.
Today, I live among the ruins, trying to find a path forward through the rubble and heartbreak. š
Every moment is a battle against fear and uncertainty.
What was once ordinary ā a safe place to sleep, a future to dream of ā now feels like a distant memory. šļø
I share my story not to seek pity, but to keep hope alive ā to believe that even in the darkest places, kindness can still find a way. š¤
If my story touches your heart, please consider sharing it or offering support.
Every voice, every act of care, brings me one step closer to safety. āØ

Hello, My name is Mosab, and I live in Gaza with my family. Life here has become harder than I ever imagined, and Iām writing this with hope in my heart that you might hear our story.
The ongoing war has devastated my family. Weāve lost 25 family membersāeach one a beloved part of our lives, taken too soon. I miss them deeplyātheir laughter, their presence, their love. Every day is a reminder of this unimaginable loss.
We are now facing daily challenges to surviveāthings that most people take for granted, like food, clean water, and a safe place to sleep. The harsh realities of life here have replaced our dreams with the constant fight for survival.
Our Current Situation:
š Lost Stability: The war has left us without work or a stable source of income.
š Dreams on Hold: Like so many here, my familyās dreams have been replaced by the need to simply survive.
š¢ Unimaginable Loss: Losing 25 loved ones has left a void that can never be filled.
How You Can Help:
Iām sharing our story with the hope that someone out there might care. Even $10 can make a big difference for us, and if youāre unable to donate, just reblogging this post can help spread the word.
Your kindness, no matter how small, is something weāll never forget.
What This Means to Us:
Your support is not about changing our entire situationāitās about giving us a little relief, a little hope, and a way to keep going. We are not asking for much, and we understand if you canāt donate. Sharing our story is just as valuable to us as a donation.
Thank you for reading this far. It means the world to us to know that someone is listening. Your kindness gives us strength and helps us believe in a better tomorrow.
With all our gratitude,
Mosab and Family ā¤ļø

šø From One Motherās Heart ā Please Read šø
My name is Saja. Iām a wife, a mother, and a woman who once believed her story would be simple. I thought my days would be filled with watching my daughter grow ā from her first smile to her first steps ā surrounded by the small joys of everyday life.
But life had other plans.
War has returned to our home. Again.
And once again, we find ourselves living under skies that never seem to rest.
There was a moment ā a fragile, breathless moment ā when the bombs paused and the world seemed to remember us. It gave us hope. We thought maybe, just maybe, we could start to rebuild. But now, we are back in the dark ā hiding, holding on, praying.
Iām writing this not as someone seeking pity, but as a mother who has no other choice but to speak.
Imagine holding your baby in the middle of the night, not because she cried, but because the world outside roared too loud for either of you to sleep. Imagine whispering bedtime stories not to lull her into dreams, but to keep the fear from settling into her tiny bones.
This is my life.
This is my daughterās life.
And even now ā especially now ā I believe in softness. I believe in kindness.
Because when everything else is taken from you, hope becomes the most valuable thing you have.
Why Iām Reaching Out
Our home has been damaged. Our lives changed. But through it all, my daughter wakes up every morning with a smile. She reaches for me with trust, with love, with faith that I will keep her safe.
Thatās why I keep going.
Iāve launched a campaign to ask for help ā not because itās easy, but because silence is no longer an option. I am asking for support not just for me, but for my baby, and for the quiet strength of so many mothers like me who are fighting, every single day, to hold their families together.
How You Can Help:
š¤ Help us restore parts of our home so we can live with dignity
š¤ Support women and mothers in Gaza with access to care and resources
š¤ Keep the light of hope alive for a generation born in the shadows of war
š If you can, please support our journey here:

If you canāt give, please consider sharing.
Your voice might be the reason someone else hears ours.
From My Heart to Yours
Maybe our lives are worlds apart. Maybe youāve never lived through war.
But if youāve ever held a child and wished the world could be better for them ā then you understand more than you know.
I donāt want my daughter to grow up thinking the world turned away.
Please, if youāve read this far ā thank you.
Thank you for seeing us. Thank you for caring.
We are still here. Still hoping. Still holding on to every kind act like itās a lifeline.
Dear friends, kind hearts, and everyone who has stood with us,
When I first opened my heart to the world and shared our story, I never imagined the amount of love and solidarity we would receive. Thanks to your incredible support, weāve now reached $12,837āa milestone that brings real light to some very dark days.
From the deepest corners of my heart, thank you.
š A Journey of Loss, but Also of Strength
As many of you know, Iāve lost 25 of my loved ones during this devastating war. That grief lives with me every single day. Itās in the silence that once held laughter, in the empty spaces where we once gathered as a family.
But through your help, Iāve also felt something else: hope. And that hope is priceless.

A quiet moment of fear, filmed just before everything changed.
ā22/Oct/2023 The Morning After: Our Family Home in Ruinsā
This is what was left behind after the bombing of our home.
šæ What Life Looks Like for Us Now
Despite everything, weāre still here.
Still surviving. Still hoping.
But things have only gotten harder.
The war has returned, more brutal than beforeāand for over a month now, Gaza has been completely sealed off. No food is coming in. No medical supplies. No aid. No trade. No one is allowed to leave, and no one is allowed to enter.
Your support reminds us that weāre not forgotten. It reminds us that someone, somewhere, is still listening. That someone still cares. That weāre not completely alone in this.
Every message. Every share. Every dollar. It tells us:
Youāre walking this road with us.
And that gives us the strength to keep going.
š What You Can Do
If youāve already donatedāthank you beyond words.
If you can share our story again, it could reach someone who can help.
Even $5 means warmth, comfort, and a chance to breathe a little easier.
My name isĀ Mosab Elderawi, and I am a survivor of the war in Gaza. Life as I knew it has been completely destroyed. I have lost my home, my
⨠Why It All Matters
This isnāt just about reaching a fundraising goal. Itās about surviving war with dignity.
Itās about believing in tomorrow. Itās about making sure my daughter grows up knowing that the world did not look away.
Thank you for your kindness, patience, and belief in our humanity.
Youāve helped me find my voiceāand I will use it to keep hope alive.
š From the Heart: A Quiet Apology
Thereās something I need to sayāsomething thatās been on my heart for some time.
When I first began sharing our story, I didnāt know what the right way was. I was scared, grieving, and trying to protect my family in any way I could. I reached out to many people, hoping someone, anyone, would see us. In that process, I now realize I may have overstepped, and I might have made some feel overwhelmed.
If that happened, I am truly sorry.
Please believe me when I say it was never out of disregard or pushiness. It came from a place of fearāfear of being forgotten, fear of not being able to keep my family safe, fear of watching everything I love slip away in silence.
Iām learning as I go. Iāve slowed down. Iām more mindful now, trying to share our journey in a way that feels respectful of the space and hearts of those listening.
If my words ever came at the wrong time, or in the wrong way, I hope you can understand where they came fromāand I hope you can forgive me.
Thank you for seeing past my mistakes. Thank you for still being here. It means more than I can ever explain.
