super bored at 4:30 am so I have a few gravity falls oriented questions...
Who's your favourite gravity falls character? and is there a specific bit about them that you really enjoy or just how they interact as a person overall?

I've somehow felt over-whelming joy and utter despair and the need to vomit (cough cough YELLOWMANGETTINGHISHEADBLOWNOFF) the emotional depth you go into is INSANE keep up the awesome work 🥹🙏
Ahh thank you so so much! That's such a big compliment! I really like pushing hard with the emotionality because it's like..... You'll eventually forget how a sunrise looked, but you'll never forget how it made you feel. That's the most important part, I think.

I don't think I can pick just one, but other than Ford, my favourite characters are McGucket and Pacifica.
McGucket is sweetheart and I can relate a lot to his storyline of desperately trying to forget. Ironically, I also have a terrible memory that was made worse from abusing things I shouldn't have, so. I get him. I like that he's just himself all the time and he doesn't really care much for putting on airs and graces. I just find him to be a charming little fella and I'd like to drink moonshine and pig race with him. He'd be a riot.
Pacifica has always had a special place in my heart. My parents were evil too, and I appreciate that she becomes her own person in spite of them. She remains flawed, but Mabel sees her for what she could be and I like that. She's a softie deep down, regardless of how much of a front she puts up.
Regarding MtB, the only thing from the show that really inspired it was the lack of character expansion for Ford. Obviously, GF isn't really about him and he comes in late so it makes perfect sense, but I just wanted to try my hand at adding some colour to that.
The first fic was inspired by one of the tracks from Pirates of the Caribbean. The second was inspired by a minor part of Base12's Ford fic. The third is primarily a character study with some inspiration pulled from playlists that I've daydreamed to.
Songs play a pretty major part throughout FS because of that (mostly in terms of chapter titles) and although it won't be used because it doesn't fit the era-scheme, I found one earlier this year that quite literally describes the entirety of the series. I had no idea it existed but it's almost verse for verse the vibe of the story, which is really mad! It's also a banger so that helps!
Ooh favourite episode is probably Into the Bunker. I love The Thing so seeing it referenced was super fun. It's that, or it's Roadside Attraction because I fuck with Darlene.
Ships-wise, I love Mabifica and Fiddauthor! They're both just really cute and I get all my favs together so. Win win! I was also part of the original fandom back when GF first came out and back then I LOVED Stanchez so fucking much. Still do. Rick and Stan are great together.
