I am a fool, an absolute buffoon, and I know what yanderes are but I had to look up different kinds in order to do this. XD They aren’t really my thing, but I get the appeal~ I hope you like it sweet cicada~!

The possessive kind, his MC would feel almost suffocated. That is, if he weren’t as talented as he were. He’s manipulative, convinces his MC that they need no one but him in their life. It’s okay at first, they hadn’t made any friends in town aside from him- so they casually went about as usual, talked to the baker, said hello to the palm reader, everything as normal.
But from there he raised the bar, first always insisting he be at their side, holding their hand, introducing himself as their significant other and initiating who they talked to and when. Eventually, he started asking them to stay home instead, complaining about how much he missed them and how lonely he got. It came to the point where he didn’t want them leaving at all. Whenever they asked about it, his gaze would darken almost frighteningly, but he’d smile soon after. “It’s because I love you, you know? And you’re all mine- mine alone~”
The obsessive kind, her MC would, at first, feel very special. She has a way with her words and the way she acts, always make them feel like they’re on top of the world. They’re always on her mind, literally everything reminds her of them, and she makes notes throughout her day of what to do for (and to *wink) them. When she tells them, “you’re always in my thoughts”, she actually means it.
It gets creepy though. They find their possessions missing, and at first it’s smaller things, like a piece of jewelry or a sock or a scarf- without them knowing that Nadia had taken it. It racks up to bigger things though- like their hairbrush, entire articles of clothing, one time… even their bed sheets. Eventually, they woke up in the middle of the night to see Nadia hovering over them with a pair of scissors. “Just a bundle of your locks darling-” Nadia snipped off her share without another beat, catching them off guard. “I can’t help it, sweetest– I just love every single thing about you. Every. Single. Thing.”
The aggressive kind, his MC would feel very loved at first too, special like Nadia would make her own MC feel, but this time because of his strange obsession with not liking others fawn over them. Thankfully, it’s usually only the evil gaze he shoots at bar patrons or people they pass by that tips them off- of course- there’s always more beneath the surface.
Although he loved them dearly, he was out late at night more than usual. They paid it no heed, and one night was searching for old journals from his past. Just looking for a good read, of course, but they got much more than that upon opening the closet door- and a mound of perfectly decapitated heads had fallen out instead of books. The moment they screamed, a pair of arms wound loosely around their hips as a chin settled on their shoulder. “They looked at you funny- I can’t have people lusting over you when I’m with you. I always make them pay, in your name~”
