You cannot kill a witch relying solely on your quirk but you cannot get too close to them for fear of severe injury, that’s why most girls utilise long range weapons. For example, Shouko can create ice for platforms to advance her position and use fire to get rid of pesky familiars but her double-headed staff can be infinitely summoned and can extend to different sizes; most useful for simply throwing at witches.

Shouko cannot time travel by herself, she uses the help of another character, who cannot remember these timelines until they eventually become a magical girl themself. They cannot control when exactly Shouko ends up but it’s always before UA.

This is a sort of introduction to my My Hero Academia v Madoka Magica crossover au.

The world is set in the world of Mha with the same characters only but all the Mha specific events (USJ, sports festival, summer camp, etc.) happen ALONGSIDE the events and magic system in Madoka Magica! Quirks and magic co-exist but only magical girls can harness the latter.

The most obvious development is that Izuku and Shouto are now girls - Izumi and Shouko. I made this decision from a previous struggle I had integrating Izuku into this au as a male - then I remembered genderbending exists :/ The story follows Izumi attending UA and fulfilling her magical girls duties with Shouko as the secondary lead and doomed yuri situationship

Speaking of the main cast - The Holy Quintet (Sextet including Melissa - who wasn't initially included only because of proximity) consists of Shouko and Izumi, of course, as well as Eri, Nejire and Himiko. Kyubey retains their original purpose. Narratively, they will fill the roles of some of the original holy quintet characters but their wishes, ambitions and characters will, of course be very different.

I really look forward to making and drawing more content for this au. I even have some fic ideas for a full-blown series (rebellion timeline will include some magia record elements (DOPPELS!!!!!)) but that may be a bit presumptuous and I'm not very good at writing so we'll see. For now I'm just going to place snippets, ideas and drawings righhhhht here.
