Castle is very considerate and charming, and while he does try his best to mediate situations, sometimes he makes things worse by being neutral. He just thinks that every situation can be settle with simply apologizing, and when things don't go according to his ideals (hope I used that right), he can get mildly upset. Of course he never takes his anger out on others, because he'd just be a tyrant if he did so!
His backstory is mostly a work in progress, but for short: he grew up in the palace and was taught by his parents "Do not forces things, but suggests them", which is a mindset he still has till this day. He was very intelligent when he was younger as well! He knew how to horseback ride when he was only 3; he learned his first spell when he was 5; and by the time he turned 7, he spoke 5 languages (mostly) fluently! Not because his parents taught him all these things at a young age, he chose to do so on his own. And when he turned 12, he was declared heir to the throne.
He also has 5 younger sisters, who he loves with all his heart.

When he was accepted into NRC, his family had a grand celebration for his achievement! "Tonight, we don't only celebrate Castle as heir to the throne, but as our son as well." his father said, beginning his big speech about how proud he is of Castle and what he will achievement in he future! But on this night, he was kidnapped. Of course, he wasn't afraid, as it has happened many other times before. Not to mention most kidnappers would send him back home saying that he talked too much.
