the joy of starting new bg3 runs is remembering that there's a non zero percent chance astarion gets kidnapped by aliens, gets an unknown living thing shoved in his eye where its doing the cha cha, survives an alien ship crashlanding on a sunny beach in the middle of nowhere which he is miraculously surviving and his reaction is to get in a knife fight turned fist fight with literally the first person he sees. you will never convince me he does not love throwing hands. he's got fight or fawn down to an artform so well that he's lost room for confusion or whatever else alien abuduction interdimensional shipcrash survivors are supposed to be feeling. i say non zero chance because sometimes he is foiled by the dastardly perception check but this doesnt mean he is not planning to pounce in every universe. he does not care if the player character is a gnome or a 7 ft tall half orc. he doesn't even care if you're karlach and on fire. he has 99 problems, a knife and inexplicably. a bottle of grease
