tachibana makoto fic recs!!!
got a request slid in the notes of one of my answer posts!Ā (įįØį) as much as i love makoharu, i also have some non makoharu ships that i really, reallyĀ love! iām a bit makoto-biased, so i tend to ship him with more than just haru (even though makoharu will always dominate this list). unfortunately, i donāt ship haru with anybody more than just makoto, hahaā¦
anyways, this list will be divided into three sections for the characters i tend to ship makoto with the mostāmakorin, kisumako, and soumako! (yes, those are my favorite makoships listed in order.) i believe i have the most makorin fics (obviously lol). unfortunately, i donāt have a lot of kisumako fics, which iām REALLY bummed about because not many people write about them :(

how much does your love cost?Ā - therewillbecubes [2/2]: haru isā¦ crazyĀ in this fic. it takes place in medieval times and follows haruās perspective as he becomes more and more obsessed with makoto. makoto, however, is already in a relationship with rin and struggles throughout the two chapters to be free. nobody gets a happy ending, so i donāt recommend this if you wanted something fluffy.
lifeās too shortĀ - brewcha [1/1]: rin reflects on his (season one) actions and how it wouldāve hurt him for the rest of his life if makoto died during that one stormy night. you can honestly take makorinās relationship in this fic both ways? it can be read either platonically or romantically!
enunciate your feelingsĀ - brewcha [a oneshot and a 4/4 work compiled into an ao3 folder]: I LOVE THESE TWO WORKS!!!! you know how makoto is canonically terrible at english? the author uses that to their advantage in order to craft this adorable headcanon of rin confessing through english because heās too nervous to do it in japanese. the oneshot is a prequel to the 4/4 work.
