The KIDS act (which contains KOSA) passed the US house, so I would recommend calling your senators and telling them to vote in opposition. I don't think I need to stress the importance of being able to use the internet freely and without privacy barriers being breached.
There are many scripts online you can follow, many ways to tweak your message to fit your senator (ESPECIALLY if they are up for reelection this year). Whether it's a recording you reach or a real person, be straightforward, don't argue, just let your rep know that you are a constituent and you oppose the KIDS act, etc.
Here is where you can search for your senator... call, email, fax, bring them physical letters, show up in person to their offices if you are able.

The actual GOP bad actors? Somehow they are never the story. Capitalism loves a scapegoat to extend white victimhood.
White victimhood dovetails into 'look what you made me do' abuser rhetoric.
Sounds about right

A federal judge ruled Tuesday that a civil suit against President Donald Trump for his actions on Jan. 6, 2021, can continue.
BREAKING: Trump suffers MAJOR LEGAL DEFEAT as federal judge rules he’s not above the law for January 6th.
A federal judge just made Donald Trump’s worst nightmare come true by hitting him with a legal gut punch: ruling that his literally rabble-rousing speech on January 6th wasn't presidential. It was political. And that means he can be sued for it.
U.S. District Court Judge Amit Mehta ruled late Tuesday that Trump's incendiary speech at the Ellipse on January 6, 2021 — the one that sent a mob marching toward the Capitol chanting "Hang Mike Pence" — cannot be shielded by presidential immunity because it wasn't a presidential act. It was a campaign act. And the evidence Mehta cited to reach that conclusion came straight from Trump's own operation.
No public funds were used to pay for the rally. The White House didn't promote it. No executive branch agency was involved in planning it. Nearly everyone who organized the event was tied to Trump's re-election campaign, not the White House. As the judge put it plainly: Trump "has not" carried his burden to show he deserves immunity for the Ellipse speech.
The ruling also torches Trump's infamous phone call to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger — the one where Trump said, "I only need 11,000 votes. Give me a break. You know, we have that in spades already." Judge Mehta was unsparing: "These are the words of an office-seeker imploring a state official to alter the outcome of Georgia's election, not those of an incumbent President acting in his official capacity."
In other words: that wasn't the President of the United States on that call. That was a sore loser trying to steal an election.
This ruling is significant beyond just this case. It draws a crucial line in the sand around last year's Supreme Court immunity decision — the one Trump's legal team has been trying to use as a blanket get-out-of-jail-free card for every corrupt act of his presidency. Mehta's ruling makes clear that immunity has limits, and that a president using the power of his office to overturn a democratic election is not, in fact, a "core presidential act."
Trump's legal team responded with their usual creativity, calling it a "meritless Democrat Hoax" and insisting Trump was "acting on behalf of the American people." Rep. Eric Swalwell, one of the lawmakers who brought the suit, had a better response: "Donald Trump thinks he can get away with murder."
Luckily, Judge Mehta told the already-convicted felon in the White House: “Not today!”
I do not need unity. I want justice.
