the endless carousel of schrödinger’s cat

since we get to finally look inside rika's head this chapter i wanted to draw a little something taking reference from the iconic kai OP naraku no hana! the running rikas across the moon represent her cruel and unusual fate; cycling endlessly through the month of june 1983, like a cat chasing its own tail in futile circles. what will happen to the next cat trapped within the cycle, and who do those mysterious horns belong to…?

there's an evening and night version prepared this time, and i started earlier so i could be a bit more deliberate with my creative choices this time and give it a fancy ethereal kind of vibe! i hope you like it and keep up the amazing work!

ps. here's a quick bonus piece i made out of the small rikas since they weren't originally meant to be silhouettes! pretty proud of them considering im not the best at drawing side profiles!
