this scene isn't as scary as characters suddenly appearing and disappearing but it's incredibly sinister. the man in the white mask shows that he has complete control of the environment around yuma and then talks about how easy it is to forget things even in baseline reality. not a jumpscare but a subtle erosion of yuma's sense of reality
