On a related note, a small rant:

I've seen multiple posts on other platforms today from people saying they got tickets to Australian shows and saying how easy it was/how cheap the ticketing fees are compared to the US. Like, sure, the US is a capitalist hell-hole whereas Australia has laws against scalping, the exchange rate means things seem cheaper here, etc. But the whole bragging about getting tickets when you just admitted to already having seen them?? Like, shut the fuck up, the whole of Australia got 4 dates, and you're gonna travel all the way here when you've just seen them already?? Give someone else a go!! They haven't been here in 8 years and you're taking tickets from Australian/NZ fans when you've just seen them!! It makes my blood fkn boil to read that!!

It kind of goes along with the whole getting tickets to multiple shows in general. Like, I get it, each show is different and we all live for the funny little interactions and nuances between shows, but it smacks of privilege and excess when people can spend so much on tickets to what is essentially the same show. And then add travel expenses on top of that??

Maybe I'm bitter (I definitely am) but I'm getting pretty tired of the gross consumerism of this fandom around this tour. Ticket prices feel steep anyway, but to see people posting about these approx. $700 VIP package things is pretty fkn galling when buying a $200 ticket is a stretch for some (me)
