My all time favourite gif is probably yeeting Virgil because it's so dumb but it's something we're all legit concerned about

My second favourite is prolly yolo/nolo because it's also dumb but it makes me think of the best days of TAGdom. And I miss bro. She's distracted by some cat now when will my bro return from the cat war.

My third fave is probably the He Aint Heavy He's My Brother set that I did to celebrate passing 800 followers. It's the only project I've ever worked on for months, and when I'm having a bad anxiety day, I like to check my /* tag and read the comments that people leave on those kinds of sets. It really helps and I'm grateful for how kind people are.

My fourth fave is probably just going to have to be that scene from Icarus because I have made so many versions of that scene. I just love everything about it. Big brother's brooding. Lil bro knows just what to say. Big brother looks so handsome. And just. Whoever was responsible for Virgil in this shot deserves a darn medal. He might not be a puppet but it's a fucking fantastic shot.

My fifth favourite might be the Mr Whippy shot from Grandma Tourismo. Name anything softer than this boy, I dare you. You can't. He's softer than clouds or freshly washed lil bro hair.

Virgil isn’t easy to anger and we’ve never seen him have an angry outburst quite as we have seen with Scott. Virgil keeps his cool and usually is busy tempering Scott’s to be angry himself. The only time we’ve seen him really lose his temper was during Skyhook, when he’s undoubtedly already frustrated by TB2 being disabled. He gets a bit close in Breakdown too, getting frustrated at Dr. Peck and quite literally throwing his hands up n the air, but does walk away a moment to calm down.

BUT yes. Non-verbally…

WELL. Virgil… uh… frowns. And what a frown he has!

DAT FROWN. …As he stops Scott from being so angry to hit a guy. >.> lol

AND DAT FROWN at Fischler …who Virgil in the end just mutes. And smiles. All better. :D

…And… yeah. We’ve not really seen a lot of non-verbal angry out of Virgil. He folds his arms looking a bit hmph-y in Skyhook… and that’s really all I can think of.

I really feel like if Virgil really does get angry and it sticks around… he feels more like a brooder to me. He chews on it himself till it passes… maybe releasing it through piano or working on TB2 or something. I don’t feel like he takes it out on others–or at least tries not to and I just can’t see it going anywhere much beyond verbal anger. Virgil’s always acted in a pretty pacifist way since day 1, with his disbelief someone would purposefully cause an earthquake. And I’ve pointed this out before but…

In same episode, when he holds out his hand for a handshake and gets snubbed, even then he’s like. …Oh well. :) His expression and body language is even just very. Whatevs. XD

Chain of Command… Scott is so (rightfully) angry that ep, and there’s Virg just.. 

“We can’t.” SO soft and he’s just not angry. Voice of REASON.

Impact! Scott is SEETHING and Virgil’s just like. =_=; Exasperated.

High Strung… Scott’s like ARGH at the start and Virgil’s just kinda amused.

And GOSH. RECHARGE. Virgil should be furious at Scott for zooming off and crashing the POD, but he just follows along and then catches up and opens the hatch and is all so can we do this my way now?

My headcanons didn’t really change. I never said he didn’t get angry, after all. I don’t take this scene TOO seriously, cause it’s all played a bit to end the episode on a silly note. He let out a grumble in reaction to Gordon. As I recall, Gordon’s a bit flippant and Virg ain’t obviously in the mood for it. Gordon is really the one who can get under Virgil’s collar. lol He still doesn’t take it really out on his brothers though... He’s pretty calm speaking to Scott and then he seems to go off to brood, much as I predicted. Angry? A bit and upset, I’d say. Artists don’t like losing their work. Been there, done that, chucked my tablet pen down in frustration. lol
