Heroes in Crisis #3 - Lagoon Boy recounts his trauma.

Bizarrely, it seems that LB is referring back to the 2009 Titans East Special, where he, Cyborg and other teenage superheroes attempted to form a new, non-evil version of the Teen Titans East team.

This being a Teen Titans book in the mid to late 2000s, however, they were all promptly killed off in numerous ways. Power Boy getting impaled on a tree, and the rest dying from lasers and explosions.

This is the event LB is flashing back to in Heroes in Crisis, and also brings the added layer of depression considering how they’ve now confirmed Little Barda is a character in the rebooted DCU… but she’s already long dead.
