"They [the IDF] still didn't commit war crimes? They are only committing war crimes. I have a degree in law, I have obtained a specialization in human rights required to work in the international courts of justice. My degrees in law, human rights and humanity, they were of no use to me. During the interrogation I asked for a lawyer, for the presence of the international Red Cross, to talk with my family. They refused and when I asked them to explain, he [the soldier] said 'We are at war.' If international laws and human rights are not safeguarded during war, they are unnecessary in times of peace."

I would like, with bitter hope, that my grave be in a real cemetery, not a street, no sidewalk, nothing else

These are all actual conversations I had with @mohammedayesh . In fact, while I was working on finishing this comic today, he sent me a video of bomber planes flying above them. There is not a single place in Gaza that is safe.

We (as in, Komodobits and a couple of dumbasses including yours truly) have been working on a way to raise even more money for Palestine through Komodobit’s Charity Drive that she’s started in March.

Currently, the fundraiser for the Palestinian Child’s Relief Fund that she’s set up 5 months ago is sitting a little over 4000$, raised solely through donations for fic commissions.

I reached out to @cuddlebabies a few months back saying “hey, i think i may have an idea to raise even more funds, but i also know your stance about hard copies. But hear me out, because i think this would be a kickass way to both give something this fandom has wanted for so long, and raise a shit-ton of money for Palestine”. So we had a lock of back and forth, and conversations of how this was gonna go, and how we could handle it, but what if people don’t like it, etc.

Ultimately, we’ve worked on this collection of three books for the past few months and now that’s they’re basically ready, this is how it’s gonna go:

An important addition because it’s already been asked several times since the original tweet was posted: yes, you will be able to get your hands on a regular set of copies (slightly different from the three sets of raffles copies)… if we can get the fundraiser up the the 8k marks! That is roughly 100 raffle entires right now, and I know this fandom well-enough to know we can get to the point.

One last note about everyone’s involvement on this: original font and artwork on front cover by artist @mycolour, Polaroids on the back by @winchester-reload, typeset, cover creation, map work and regular cheerleading by lil’ old me.
