Voltron rep disappointed you? Here’s how we can still win…
Dreamworks made a big mistake by blocking LGBT+ content on the show. They need to realise their mistake and we need to make a stand against this bc it’s not OK. Creators need the creative freedom to produce the shows they intended, and LGBT+ people need to feel loved and supported, not baited and like they were used for marketing purposes.
So here’s the plan.
1. Sign every petition you can find that’s directed at Dreamworks. NOT the writers of VAs as it’s not their fault. They WANTED the gay stuff to happen.
2. Stop watching Voltron on Netflix, ie legally. They need to feel the effect of what they’ve done and, as viewers on mass, we have the biggest control over their financial gain. We make it apparent that we won’t watch something unless we get the rep we deserve, then they will sit up and listen if it has a direct affect on their business.
Imagine if season 8 came out and nobody watched it?! We need to work together.
