a sudden scare then cut us in half,

deceit and spite was all i felt,

but love was present in what i held.

three months then on of no contact,

no texts,

no calls,

no notifications,

those months were a blessing and yet a curse,

because i missed you a lot and i knew i was never enough,

with the courage to get lost back then,

i did find myself in the end.

now five months and fifteen days later,

we reconnected,

we poured our hearts out to each other and kept confessing on how much we missed each other,

this was never just a fling,

it’s beginning to bloom as we approach spring.

i asked “do you love me?”
