Restarted this piece several times to find a workflow that felt right.

[OC] Apophis on Asphodel My first finished 3D mini-project!! Still very much a beginner in 3D, but I’m genuinely happy with how this turned out.

This is Asphodel — a planet wrapped in the remains of a colossal biomechanical god.

Pipeline: ZBrush — sculpt Substance Painter — textures Blender — lighting, atmosphere, stars, compositing, and render

Ksarkhael.

Another one of my cosmic creatures. One of the five biomechanical gods in the setting.

This reference still isn’t final and there’s more to refine, but I already like the balance between the organic and mechanical sides.

I’ve been reworking her second form for months.

I wanted to push it away from a more literal monster design and toward something more amorphous and cosmic. Version 3 feels the closest so far, but it still isn’t final.
