Remembering people you've loved forever is such a blessing and a curse like I feel like my ex best friend would have so deeply loved and thrived in the upstate New York town I moved to with my husband at the end of summer and sometimes when I see something or go to a show around here it just really strikes me she would have enjoyed the scene and nature so much too and she will never know it and we will never talk again and also maybe she's changed and she doesn't like walking through the woods like we used to I don't actually know
