So we all kinda expected this to more-or-less suck, right? Or at least those of us who already disliked or at least didn’t simp for the original BE2 did. Either way, this is mostly being written for catharsis purposes, so if you did enjoy this DLC— I would encourage you not to read this review, much less fight me about it, lol. It would, simply put, be a massive waste of time for the both of us, because I cannot stress this enough: I do not care to have my mind changed.

not liking the idea of jumin’s dlc is okay

It may have been a point of interest but how you two reacted to the pull of the universe was of your own choice. You may have been nudged together but what you did with that was what came to define your lives. 

How you stood by him and gave him time and patience to come together with his thoughts. 

That was something that he respected quite a bit, as someone who wasn’t what one could call the most well-versed in opening his most sincere feelings with a lot of people, he admired how your heart was on your sleeve. 

What didn’t come quite as natural to him came to you with ease. It was just a testament that you were his other half, this energy that was his opposite and yet, so perfectly harmonized with himself. Though, this insight didn’t strike him as hard as it did when he came home from work. 

His eyes immediately drawn to the lights on, a far cry from the darkness he’s once return home to, and the sounds of music and laughter from the kitchen. You would be hard at work and waiting for him to join you, humming along to a song or chatting to Elizabeth and listening to her responses. 

“Welcome home,” you’d always call out to him.

You know for some reason this 👆 really made me feel sad. May be I read too much into this but... I just thought about it more deeply and I realized most people just call him names like the Chairman-to-be or the trustfund kid. Some call him a jerk (cough Zen- glares at him from the distance) others call him cat daddy, Juju, Mr. Han or my son, but nobody really calls him by his actual name despite when things get serious... (except for V, and sometimes his father)

He always tries paying attention to call Luciel by his chosen name, calls V Jihyun and one time even called Zen Hyun if i remember it right. (Plus: that whole thing with Elizabeth the 3rds name)

Like I said i definetely read to much into this, but i think that after all he's been through he just want somebody else he can bond with, who's not after his money, his father or worse his body and just sees him for who he actually is, without any prejudices.
