Unusual because they werenβt anxiety or rejection driven. Super detailed exploration of a colorful arcade/ supper club that was frozen in time from the1960βs sort of googie Vegas. it was multi tiered and I went through all of the odds and ends, every arcade game and back room. Sat on every chair and couch. Explored the dancers dressing rooms which looked like something out of a Dorris Day film. There was a smoking lounge on the middle floor by the escalator where everything was burnt orange. The arcade had all of these obscure games that I knew how to play. I was re discovering the place. The arcade smelled like an old bowling alley or the Skate Depot I went to growing up. Almost smelled like spilled blue raspberry icee and cigarettes. It was so great. At the end I got locked in and had to squish through an oversized square drain looking thing that let out into the front of the building. I barely fit and when I got to my feet I had to sneak past two sherbet colored bears. Like real wild bears that were pastel. I was struggling a bit with that then I woke up sweating like crazy. My brain canβt reconcile that all of these details, games, architecture, and furniture objects of specific shape and color donβt exist. I feel like Iβm supposed to design it maybe?.
