one of my favourite things when i'm a customer somewhere is getting the "you see this shit?" look from one of the employees about another customer or coworker. Yes, i have been correctly identified as an ally in your struggle, the customer you can trust to go "yeah, what the fuck?" instead of blowing up at you. i am honored to be knighted by the sword of your piercing gaze ma'am. okay I know we’ve all talked about how well Marvel did Lilia’s visions and piecing together but I just really need to emphasize how well they executed non-linear storytelling. It’s incredibly undervalued and people are often left incredibly confused and dissatisfied because they don’t understand it. Marvel twined together linear and non-linear storytelling so well and the episode would not have been as well done if they had just thrown all the pieces at us already in order. We needed the gaps. Seeing time the way Lilia sees it, where the end gets to be the beginning, and all points inbetween connect in ways an audience would usually never expect, is so so good. Like idk I just really want to praise everyone who worked on the show for that. To tell a story out of order and in a way where viewers can still connect the dots before it’s put “right” is incredibly difficult to do and it’s just part of what’s made this episode one of my favorites so far.

i really love it when people here are “not normal” about the things they love. yes!! break down the scene that you’ve been obsessing over for weeks! create incredibly intricate theories based on a few throwaway lines! explain why you love this character so much—458 reasons and counting, and with visual aids! i love to see people putting their heart and soul into not being normal!!!
