They walked through the maze of a store, and he spotted a small, white fluff ball on the shelf. His interest peaked as he wandered over to the lone item.
As he got closer he saw that it was a mountain goat plush. He instantly got attached to the soft creature, and grabbed it from the shelf before catching back up with Mumbo.
His companion didn’t comment on the new item that Grian held tightly in his arms, however he did stay closer to him for the rest of the trip. The avian, was none the wiser, just happy to be looking around.
As they left the store, bags in hand, the plush remained in the avian’s arms.
They got back to their home, put away the new stuff they’d gotten that day, and settled into the couch.
“So, what’s with the plushie?” Mumbo said knowingly.
Grian blushed a bit, finally realizing what had actually happened, and what led him to becoming the owner of this goat plush.
“I might have slipped a bit…” he muttered.
Mumbo just chuckled, he had picked up on that the moment Grian had returned with the plush in hand. Apparently the avian himself hadn't.
“Are you still feeling like that now?”
Grian nodded minutely while curling up into himself, feeling embarrassed.
Mumbo smiled warmly at him, “c’mere little bird”
He shifted to sit across the couch, his outermost leg dropped to the floor so Grian would have enough room, and he opened his arms in invitation.
Grian quickly crawled over and settled down between the man’s lanky legs; facing the back of the couch with his shoulder against Mumbo’s chest and his head tucked into his neck.
Mumbo firmly wrapped his arms around him, one around his waist and one behind his head so Grian could properly relax without falling.
Once he felt Mumbo’s firm hold on him, Grian relaxed. His upper body turned in to be more comfortable, his chest now against Mumbo’s. He huffed a sigh as his body’s tension began to loosen up and dissipate. His wings went limp behind him. They laid, stretched out, across the coffee table they had in between their couch and TV.
“Comfortable now?”
Grian hummed and nodded, pulling his plush closer.

Let’s talk about Grian!
As a little…
His age is all over the place, and changes quite consistently when he is regressed depending on what he’s actively doing/who he is with
Does lot often drop below 4 or over like 13 I think? More of a middle of the pack kinda guy for the most part, like 6-10 is most common, but where in that range he’ll be is different every minute
Loves to pull pranks, surprising no one, but is much less inconspicuous about it when little. Much more muffled giggling from the distance when a hermit stumbled upon a primed prank.
Loves to have his wings preened/taken care of when small, but absolutely despises flying. Cannot stand it. It’s too overwhelming and stressful, and will take him right out of headspace because it’s just not safe for baby birds to be flying.
For S10, when he’s feeling small, he’ll mostly just wander around his bass/the mountain until he stumbles upon someone. Lots of people + cool things to see around there.
Scar lets him play/hang out with the animals which Grian thinks is the coolest thing ever and will actively seek him out just because he wants panda cuddle
As a CG…
Loves helping littles pull pranks, and will take the blame for them, winking at them and holding a finger up to his mouth when the victim hermit makes a fuss about it. No real harm is ever done, everyone’s a great sport about it, but littles love to feel like they’ve done something bad, and Grian will indulge this as much as he can.
Is better at taking care of more active littles who like to go out and do things, but will also happily stay at a base and just vibe if that’s what they want to do.
Encourages tantrums/crying/physical expressions of emotions, because it’s bad to keep that stuff locked up inside. Big on finding healthy ways to deal with negative emotions, even if it means taking a very long time to calm down.
Doctor carer who takes care of their kiddo during a hospital visit. Who lets them use the blood pressure cuff on their stuffie before putting it on their arm. Who turns the monitors beeping down so it doesn’t scare kiddo. They’re just so little and they don’t fully understand what’s happening, just that they’re sick and their carer is gonna make them better.
“Just a little pinch, okay bug-a-boo? Real quick and it’s over.”
They squeeze their stuffie eyeing the needle. They’re scared, it’s gonna hurt. They know it’s gonna hurt.
“My brave baby. Don’t look okay? Look at the wall, you see the pretty animals painted there? Tell me what animals you see.”
“Mmm…turtle…and s-shark…” their eyes tear up at the prick but it’s not too bad. “And a…a Nemo!”
“A clownfish. That’s right baby. Look at that all done!” When they look back their carer is pressing a cotton swab against the area and smiling at them. “You want puppy bandaid or sharks?”
“Mm…sharks please.”
Their carer coos at them, brushing away their tears.
“Ofcourse, love. You did so good for me. Now get some rest and I’ll be back to check on you in abit okay? I gotta go check my other patients but I’ll be peaking in on you. You remember what to do if you need anything right?”
They nod, pressing their thumb into their mouth.
“Words, baby. What do you do if you need me?”
“Pwess da button.” Words are alittle slurred by their thumb, but they’ll take it.
“That’s right, good job bubs. You’re so smart. You just rest now. I’ll be back in a blink.”
maybe hcs of jester and maybe doc caregiving for small pierrot while trying to navigate healthy touch? (our pierrot alter has some bad memories with harlequin and ticket master when it comes to physical abuse) and so I feel that they'd have to be careful navigating the way they care for pierrot (I think he'd eventually be a huge fan of playful tickles from jester, but probably the first time jester tried it didn't get the best response from the poor regressor) I hop thi makes sense I'm honestly about to fall sleepy

I don't mean for this to come off as rude or even hateful so if it does I apologize, but before I answer this will someone please explain to me what an Alter is? Like I can definitely write that out but I'm just not sure when this sweet anon (assuming you see this PLEASE reach out to me I will not judge you for ANYTHING) says an alter what they mean and I'm worried I may be messing something up 😅
This one didn't give me many ideas so it'll definitely be on the shorter side! About 3 per character.
Jester
If he wants to brush Pierrots hair, whether it be because of tangles or just because he always let Pierrot chose the brush.
He's constantly checking in with Pie to make sure he's okay, with what he's doing, and if he says stop? He sets the brush down and holds his hands up so the little one can watch to make sure he's not going to grab anything
Sits quietly, never touches Pierrot without him being able to see, has never randomly picked him up UNLESS it was an emergency.
Doctor:
Sits quietly through everything, answering all the questions Pierrot has about the tools and what they're for. Even demos on a teddy bear
Asks before everything and makes sure he talks the kiddo through what he's doing so he knows what's happening and why. He may be worried but the explanation can help quite a bit.
Has lost his trust more than once for sedating him to fix injuries on the sweet baby faster. He panics sometimes even if he IS the most chill even in cannon. His friend is bleeding out, he can apologize later for now there's no time.

I want one but I'm too nervous and don't know how to get one. I don't want to have it be some random person online cus that'd be dangerous.. but asking a friend is awkward.. some of my friends and my bf caregive for me sometimes but it's not always and some are in different timezones.. idk I just want someone I can rely on whenever I need but I feel like that's selfish to expect. my parents and family are supportive but it's also kinda awkward idk? I jus want someone who will be there whenever I need but that feels like too much to ask.. we can't even caregive for others anymore cus we r almost always stressed and needing to slip but we never can properly. it's too hard to take care of myself emotionally and physically when being disabled. jus want hugs n be told everythin ok n m feel bad for asking for dat...
Kiddo who’s so used to taking care of themself. Making their own pasta, cutting off their own crusts, filling their own cup, putting bandaids on their own owies. Kiddo who spent so long taking care of themselves and self soothing they don’t know how to act with a carer now looking out for them. Instinct tells them self soothe, to be quiet and take care of it themselves.
Their carer finds them all the time, standing on a stool to stir pasta they’re making, muffling their cries with a teddy bear or cleaning up their own scraped knees. And carer is trying to be patient, rushes in and tries to take over so kiddo knows they’re not alone and they’re being taken care of now.
“I tan do it…”
“I know you can, button. But I wanna do it for you, okay? I like taking care of you.”
maybe some HCs of jester caring for a regressed pierrot struggling with breaking away from his character/act? (especially with ticket taker forcing the whole 'no talking' thing I imagine he struggles with his own autonomy/permission) like gently assuring him that he's allowed to do things (or get help with things if he needs) and that jester isn't someone he needs to fear.. if that makes sense shrugs😓

Jester:
Constantly giving Pierrot easy (for Pierrot) choices, if he spills something on his shirt for example, does he want the blue hoodie, or the gray one? The red paci or the yellow one?
When he notices the little one fussing a bit, making noise rather than talking he loves reminding him about things, "Can you use your big kid words?" Is a constant phrase.
For the days Pie just doesn't want to talk he gives him simple ways to talk, a whiteboard and markers, speech buttons, sign language etc
More than once he's smacked Ticket Taker for slipping up and reminding his baby to not speak. "I'll glue your lips shut don't test me" is another sentence said unfortunately too often.
If he gets his kiddo talking he'll sit there smiling the whole time he rambles on about things. A couple of time Pierrot has just stopped talking midway through and looked at him, wondering if he needs to stop. That goes as follows:
"Mouse, do you need a water break?" A small head shake. "Okay, just a second to catch your breath? You were talking pretty fast for a second." Another small head shake followed by him looking down at his feet/the ground. "Oh little one, go ahead and keep talking, please? I love hearing you talk about your stuffies it's so interesting."
He also does his best to keep Pierrot from wearing anything red or that covers his horns. No bells except for the one on his paci.
Also loves styling Pierrots hair and letting him try new things with it, braids, curl it, straighten it, clips and hair bands even bows and extensions.

clownpierce getting embarrassed about getting snuggled because he’s supposed to be super scary and stuff, but branzy just see’s a little kitty and simply cant help it

can I request headcanons of little!pierrot getting help from cg!jester with eating? we have a pierrot alter that has issues with food cause of the whole.. thing with columbina (preferably no mentions of harlequin, he has bad source memories with him) i understand that it's more of a serious topic so i understand if you can't do it ^^'

Hun don't ever worry about too serious of a topic! With the stuff I've put little Jester though, I can write pretty much anything! I just usually need a lot of clarification to make sure I get you the right thing, but I'm always happy to redo it 🩷
Jester:
Jester takes Pierrot grocery shopping with him, letting him choose what he wants to try, what he knows he likes and avoids things that he doesn't enjoy.
When cooking he always lets Pierrot help, whether it's washing the vegetables, stirring the pots or even helping crack eggs. He's not the most coordinated little one so he needs a bit of help but he'll get it done.
When they're cooking Jester makes sure they're the only two in the room, just keeping it nice and calm in the kitchen.
He's very patient, he knows that if Pierrot can help he's more likely to try the food and enjoy it since he knows what's in it, how it was made and who made it. Even if the process tends to take a little bit longer, it's worth it.
"Little one, if you don't like it, it's okay to spit it out."
He does not let Pierrot handle raw meat, just in case he tries to put it in his mouth or if the texture upsets him.
Pierrot:
Likes to try some of the ingredients before they go into something, ie veggies, sauces and spices (assuming they aren't hot)
Occasionally isn't too sure about trying something so he has Jester try it first.
He has his own plastic cooking tools to be able to help make things
Tends to enjoy being spoonfed while they're still the only two in the kitchen, if it's different things like chicken and mashed potatoes or peas, separated plate. No touchy.
Keeps his sippy cup right next to him, always milk. What if the food may be a tiny bit too spicy? Milk helps!

Jester:
If his little thing doesn't want to eat due to constantly counting the calories and looking at the back of packages, he'll do his best to keep him distracted.
A couple of times he just goes ahead and gets everything out of the packaging, if Pierrot can't see them and start thinking about it then he won't.
Tends to use white out on bags and things that sit in the fridge. It's worth it.
"Honey you need to eat, if you don't you'll feel yucky and can't play." He's doing his best.
