While this will be a blog that focuses solely on a ‘Parody/Ask/Roleplay type’ for the character Angie Yonaga, I will sometimes get out of character for certain posts.

I use They/Them pronouns, and while I don’t have much problem with being called gendered terms, like female/male, the pronouns are important for me, so please mind it

While I actually consider yall more thin ice- you can ship whatever the fuck you want, I genuinely could not care less about what you ship- I will however block you simply because I don't want to see that content.

I have many reasons for this, it's not like I'm just copying what others have said, this ship genuinely makes me uncomfortable and I'd rather not have to be reminded of it every time I try to just indulge in my hyperfixation.

Some of my reasons are very personal and I most definitely don't feel comfortable sharing publicly, however my main reason for my hatred towards this ship is that it genuinely makes no sense in canon.

While N and J never really interact much at all during the show- the only times they do being during episode 1 and 5- any time they do interact, it's abuse, whether that be emotional or physical.

Literally, the first ever time we properly see and get introduced to J, it's when she is abusing N-, pushing him to the ground and berating him, calling him 'worthless' and 'stupid'. And again, in the same episode, J quite literally attempts to kill him, N even apologising afterwards??

The amount of people I've seen defend this ship by saying that none of their interactions is abuse and just normal behaviour is genuinely ridiculous.

"Oh, N apologised to J, that means he actually likes her!!!" No. If you genuinely believe an ABUSE victim wouldn't apologise, wouldn't be so used to this type of behaviour to the point where they belive its normal, where they believe that they need to apologise for it, actually what is wrong with you.

I've also seen others defend the ship by saying it's just enemies to lovers. It's genuinely not. Don't get me wrong, I do believe that N would at some point forgive J- we see N grow throughout the show, him being a doormat in the first episode, to how we see him in the final episode, fighting AGAINST J, against his 'sister'. I do actually believe N and J should be platonic, purely platonic, while N would forgive J, He would most definitely not start dating her, he would understand that their relationship wouldn't nor have ever been anywhere near healthy in any form.

Also kinda build on the enemies to lovers - I've seen someone say that people only hate the ship because it's hetro enemies to lovers, not yuri or Yaoi. This is also ridiculously stupid. People don't just hate ships because of the characters' genders. While I know some may PREFER yuri or yoai over hetro, they most definitely don't hate straight ships just because they're... straight.

The only, ONLY, way I see this ship ever working is in an AU, fullcompany(kinda), and if it's platonic.

If an AU is based around this ship... fine, I suppose, if nothing in the actual show happened in the AU.
