Part two of my tarot project. 

Part one of my huge end-of-year tarot project. This was my final for my contemporary practices class at MICA, and was really personal to me - each card features someone who I’ve been thinking about in the midst of this pandemic. 

Full-body self portrait. This is easily the largest I have ever worked, about 30x60″. This was done in pen and india ink.

Illustration for a banner on the Lucky Jefferson Literary Magazine website. This illustration was specifically for National Poetry Month, and its one of my favorite pieces I’ve done this year.

the prompt was ‘they sat on the old cot with the checkerboard between them’. apparently i didn’t read the prompt well enough because I drew chess, not checkers, but i’m still proud of this piece.
