if it isn’t to much/if you want to and or have time could I have some little aether hurt/comfort? If not that’s totally okay!!
Hello anon! I hope this is okay! I used this ask to slip in some Omega and Aether since I love them hehe.
Below the cut: Little!Aether, Caregiver!Mountain, Caregiver!Omega, brief description of blood, Aether calls Omega ‘daddy’ (completely innocent), completely SFW like always!
Aether was always the strong one. He was always the one to care for others; he looked after the other ghouls when they were little. He spends so much time looking after his pack, he doesn’t have time to even think about looking after himself.
The quintessence ghoul never let himself slip; he always had too much to do. The only times that it had happened before, it was involuntary; something forced him down into a dark enough headspace that his brain couldn’t do anything else.
-
Aether had been busy all day; Dew wasn’t feeling well so he’d spent all day fussing over him and now, he’s absolutely exhausted. Once the fire ghoul finally fell asleep, Aether realised he hadn’t seen Mountain since breakfast- this, for some reason, gave him a bad feeling.
The quintessence ghoul rushed down towards the gardens, feeling panic rise in his body. From somewhere off in the distance, he hears screaming. Logically, he knows it’s probably just some of the children in the ministry; but a tiny part of him is yelling that it could be Mountain in danger.
He can feel the panic rising, but at the same time, he can feel his head starting to… cloud over, almost.
Aether quickens his pace, his heartbeat getting faster and faster. He can see the greenhouse in the distance, the lights inside still on. Out of nowhere, his foot catches on something wedged in the grass and it sends him tumbling to the ground. Aether feels his knees make contact with the ground and he tries to put his hands out to protect his face, but he’s too late and his face hits the ground too, and he can hear his nose break.
His mind feels heavy and fuzzy all of a sudden and he can feel himself slipping. Aether tries to fight it, trying his absolute best to stay big; what if Mountain needs him?
He brings his hand to his nose, wincing at the pain. He pulls his hand back and sees blood. For some reason, the sight of his own blood makes a sob rise in his throat. He slowly gets to his feet, letting out a whimper as he feels the tears starting to fall. The quintessence ghoul can’t make sense of his thoughts other than one thing; Mountain.
Aether arrives at the greenhouse, stumbling through the door as he lets out a broken sob.
“M-Mount?” He calls out, the nickname taking a lot more effort to say than it normally does.
The earth ghoul comes rushing around the corner, dirt smeared on his cheek and a concerned look on his face.
“Aeth? What’s wrong, sweetheart?” Mountain asked, stepping closer. He sees Aether’s bloody nose and the tears running down his cheeks and immediately pulls him into a hug.
“F-fell.. hurt m-my nose.” Aether stutters, letting out another sob, bringing his arms to wrap around the taller ghouls neck. Mountain immediately catches onto the fact that Aether is regressed; he’d never dealt with him like this before, but he could recognise it from the tone of voice and just Aether’s whole demeanour.
“Oh, honey. Okay, you’re gonna be alright, okay? Let’s.. let’s just get you down to the infirmary, go and see Omega, hm? I’m sure he can fix you right up, sweetheart.” Mountain mumbles, bringing his hands under Aether’s arms and lifting him up with ease. The quintessence ghoul wraps his legs around Mountain’s hips and keeps his arms around his neck.
“G-go see M-mega?” Aether repeats to the best of his ability. He tries to bury his face into the earth ghouls shoulder, but cries out in pain when he feels the pressure against his nose.
“Yes, honeybee. We’re gonna go see Omega. You’re going to be okay, I promise.” Mountain responds, starting off in the direction of the infirmary, keeping Aether rested on his hip, wrapped safely in his arms.
Once the two ghouls walk through the door of the infirmary, Mountain immediately spots Omega and rushes over to him. The older quintessence ghoul looks over, his eyes immediately widening when he sees Aether being carried like that.
“Woah, what happened?” Omega asks, automatically reaching out for Aether.
“I’m not sure, he said he fell. He came stumbling into the greenhouse, sobbing and his nose covered in blood.” Mountain quickly explains, sounding slightly panicked as he hands Aether over to Omega.
“Aether, can you look at me, love?” Omega questions as he takes him from Mountain, sitting him down on one of the beds. As soon as the younger quintessence ghoul looks up, Omega recognised the look in his eyes; he’s seen it before.
“M-m-” Aether stutters, fresh tears rolling down his already tearstained cheeks.
“Shh, my little quint. You’re okay. I’m gonna make you feel all better, okay?” Omega coos, bringing a wash cloth to Aether’s face, gently wiping off the blood from around his nose.
“H-hurts-” Aether whimpers.
“I know, baby. I’m sorry.” Omega whispers as he finishes wiping the blood from the younger quints face. He then hovers his hand over his face and focuses his mind, using his quintessence to dull Aether’s pain.
After a few seconds, Aether visibly relaxes, letting out a relieved sob as reaches out to Omega.
“D-daddy-”
“I’ve got you, baby. You’re okay, I’ve got you.” Omega coos softly as he sits next to Aether on the bed and pulls him into his lap, wrapping his arms firmly around him. The older quintessence ghoul looks over at Mountain who’s still stood there, watching them.
“I’ve got him, Mountain, it’s alright. You can go.” Omega says softly, offering the earth ghoul a reassuring smile.
“Are you sure? I can stay-”
“I’m sure. Go and get some rest, okay?” Omega cuts him off, gesturing for him to leave. Mountain nods and leaves the two quintessence ghouls alone.
Aether’s sobs seemed to have finally died down now that he’s not in pain anymore. He let’s out a little whine and presses himself further into Omega’s embrace.
“You okay? What do you need, baby?” Omega asks, bringing his hand up to stroke through Aether’s hair.
“N-need you.” Mumbles the younger ghoul.
“I’m right here, love. I’ve got you, okay? Everything’s alright, sweetie.” Omega coos, pressing a gentle kiss between Aether’s horns.
“T’ank you, d-daddy.” Aether whispers in response, nuzzling into him.

If it isn’t too much could I request a comfort thing about bad memories? Anyone you’d like to throw in. I’ve had a few pop up recently. If you still have the sads when you see this don’t worry about it.
Hi love, I'm sorry you're dealing with that, it's the worst :(
This is a little heavier than usual for over here but not deep deep angst and I promise there is comfort as always but it's definitely not always sunshine and happy for the littles, they get big feelings too 🥺
Cw: flashbacks, memories of Dew's transition, Mountain is scared, crying, cg Rain, Papi Dewdrop
It doesn't happen often but when it does it feels like the world is opening up and swallowing him whole. Mountain is a pillar, a stable rock for the pack, but sometimes even rocks erode and crumble.
He's finishing up in the greenhouse, hands filthy, covered in Earth and he smiles, contentment in his bones. It's a beautiful evening, clear and warm, he spots fireflies flickering in the bushes.
His chest gets warm and he thinks about Dew with a smile on his face and purpose in his steps as he makes his way out of the greenhouse.
It's terrifying how quickly it happens, how one blissfull moment can come to a screeching car crash halt in the blink of an eye. His thoughts like splintering glass, flash images of pain and screams and a fear he doesn't think there are words for.
The scent of someone cooking over a fire makes his stomach roll, the usually enjoyable scent feels wrong and too familiar in the worst possible way. He hears someone scream and while logically he knows it's probably just the children playing his mind supplies memories of Dewdrop's screams echoing around the stone walls of the basement.
His blood goes cold and he can't move, legs shaking pathetically like a terrified baby deer. He feels sick, alone, trapped in some dark place that feels like a prison.
There is no way to tell how long he stands there. He's freezing and his hands hurt from where he's dug his nails into his palms.
Rain stumbles down the hill, a glass of wine in his hands and a blush starting to spread across his cheeks.
"Mountain! What's taking so long are you com-" Rain freezes when he sees him, knows immediately just how deep he's gone. "Oh sweetheart..."
He sets the glass down and closes the space between him and Mountain. He takes hold of his hands, flinching at how cold he feels. His eyes aren't tracking and his chests rises and falls with rapid, shallow little breaths.
Rain gently takes his tear soaked face in his hands. "Petal, I'm going to get you to Dewdrop ok? Hold onto my hand, we'll go nice and slow. Can you do that?"
Something flickers across his eyes, a murky green, glossy and dark like lightning burnt sea glass.
"Pa-"
"Yeah petal, he's right up the hill." He squeezes Mountains hand. "Come on, I've got you."
It's slow going but Rain manages to coax him up the hill with the promise of Dewdrop being there. He scans around until his eyes spot the blond by the fire, staring intently into the flames, a glass of something dark in his hands.
It's amazing really, the way Dew seems to just know when someone needs him, like some sixth sense built into him that they were all eternally grateful for. He turns just as Rain and Mountain come to a pause, his amber eyes landing on Mountain immediately.
Rain doesn't even see him set his drink down. One second he's beside the fire and the next he's in front of them, hands on Mountain's face.
"What happened?"
"I don't know, I went to see what he was doing and found him like this..."
"Pebble, baby can you hear me?"
A little whine hits their ears like fists and it hurts Rain, he can't imagine what it does to Dew.
"Papi. .." It's a near silent plea and more tears spill down his sun kissed cheeks, the dark freckles standing out against the red that blooms as he cries, roses watered by tears.
"I'm right here, I've got you pebble." He wraps his arm tight around his waist as he maneuvers him inside. The siblings lingering in the halls step aside quickly, the look in Dew's eyes, the set of his jaw, the scent of almost too hot gasoline leaving no room for conversation.
They pause a few times, Mountain's legs locking stiffly in place, broken whimpers assaulting Dewdrop's ears. He brings his hands up and presses hard against his droopy ears, whatever he's hearing in his mind too loud for him to handle.
The tears break Dews heart but it's the way he stumbles that cuts to the quick, the way he's still trying so hard to be strong.
"Almost there, pebble." Dews voice is thick, concern heavy in his tone.
Dewdrop gets him to his bedroom, he needs Mountain warm and in a place he knows well. He locks the door, providing safety and privacy for Mountain to throw down his walls, for him to be comfortable enough to break if he has to.
He guides Mountain to sit on the edge of the bed, cupping his jaw and promising to be right back, that he's just going to the closet. He grabs the first things he sees, Mountains favorite hoodie that Dew stole early on, it always smells like the fire ghoul and it keeps Mountain calm. The pants are plain sweats but they are comfy, that's all that matters.
He takes his hand and tugs him to the bathroom undressing him quickly and guiding him under the warm spray of the shower. He texts Lus and asks for a favor before setting it down and focusing fully on Mountain and washing the sweat from his shaking body.
"Can you sit for me so I can wash your hair, love?"
His movements are slow and stiff but eventually he makes it down, pulling his knees up under his chin while Dew washes his hair. He's afraid to close his eyes, afraid to see the things his mind makes up so he keeps them open and locked on Dewdrop's necklace.
Dew turns away for a second and Mountains heart stops, terror thudding against his ribs.
"Papi!"
Dew spins around so quickly it would be funny given any other circumstance.
"Pebb-"
"Don't...don't go 'way..."
Dewdrop kneels beside the tub and cups the back of Mountain's neck, pulling him in to press their foreheads together.
"I'm not going anywhere."
Mountain's eyes are wide and frantic and Dew stays holding him close like that until he's calmed enough for Dew to move.
He helps him from the tub and dries him off quickly, helping him into his comfy clothes. He drags the sleeve of the hoodie into his mouth, sucking at the fabric that tastes like Dewdrop.
"I think someones waiting for you on the bed."
His ears twitch a little at that. "Who?"
Dew just smiles and opens the door. Mountain won't go first, slipping his hand into Dew's and waiting for him to lead him out. Dew watches his eyes drift to the bed and land on his bunny.
He still won't let go of Dew's hand so the fire ghoul walks him over and picks it up for him, tucking it in the crook of his neck so he can rub his cheek over the love worn fabric.
"Can you tell me what happened, pebble?" Mountain whimpers and Dew hears his heart speed up. "It's ok, I'm right here, you're safe sweetheart."
"Fire." His eyes flicker to the scars on Dew's neck and that's all he needs, it's answers the question. "You....you...."
"It's ok, pebble, it's over. I'm still here, I'm with you."
"But..."
Dew eases him into bed and joins him quickly, pulling him in against his chest. "I'm right here."
"Papi..." Mountain sniffles, wrapping his limbs around Dew as much as he possibly can. "Don't go."
"Nothing could ever make me leave you, pebble. I'm not going anywhere. I love you."
He mumbles a sleepy response around his thumb, telling him he loves him too, nuzzling up further under his neck.
Mountain eventually falls asleep against Dew's neck with his bunny up against his cheek, his thumb and hoodie sleeve up between his lips. Dew kisses between his horns and runs his hands down his back in soothing circles, keeping him warm and keeping the nightmares away.
Dew takes one of Mountain's hands and keeps it pressed firmly against his heart to remind him that it still beats.
To remind him that he's still here, that there isn't a force in Heaven or Hell that would take him away from his pebble.

mushy may ; day nineteen (approx. 1.4k words)
read under the cut or on ao3 :)
some wholesome, semi-crack regressed rain, regressed dew, caregiver mountain and caregiver cumulus for you !! @forlorn-crows' mushy may is still going strong, haha !!
“Rain!” Mountain calls from where he’s stood at the stove, holding the hand of a very sleepy Dew. “What did I say about running in the kitchen, minnow?”
“Umm…” Rain hesitates as he struggles to remember exactly what Mountain had told him a few days prior.
Luckily, Cumulus is happy to swoop in and aid the little water ghoul in his struggles. She nudges him gently with her hip from where the two of them are now standing together making the pie crust. “Did Dada Mounty tell you that running wasn’t allowed, hun?”
“Yeah!” Rain exclaims, happy to have figured the answer out, but his face immediately falls as he realises he’s broken a rule. “Oh… ‘M sorry, Dada…”
“Thank you for being sorry, Rain.” He smiles over at the water ghoul as he continues to stir the saucepan of stewed fruit on the stove, all the while holding onto Dew’s hand and letting him taste test the mixture. “Can you remember why it’s not allowed?” Mountain asks. Rain nods, trying to hide behind Cumulus in his shame. “Can you tell me, please, love?”
Rain nods again. “Uh huh… ‘S ‘coz i’s dangerous?”
“Mhmm, that’s right, hun.” Cumulus interjects, simultaneously talking and measuring out the flour that Rain has just brought her. “Kitchen floors can be very slippery, and if you’re carrying something dangerous and fall over, you could hurt yourself.”
“Oh,” Rain pouts. “Not good…”
“Not good at all,” Mountain agrees, pulling Dew closer into his side as he does so—the poor ghoul must be just about ready to drop from exhaustion. “Do you understand why it’s bad now, Rainy?”
The water ghoul nods enthusiastically. “Uh huh! I been told why i’s bad, so it makes sense now!”
Cumulus smiles and plants a kiss on the top of Rain’s head. “I’m glad it makes sense now, love bug.” Rain beams at the pet name. “Now that you understand properly,” she continues, “will you do it again?”
“No!” Rain proudly declares. “I gotta be safe for my Mama an’ my Dada!”
The air ghoulette smiles again and pulls Rain into her arms, wrapping him tightly in a warm embrace. “That’s exactly right, Rain! Thank you for being so big and responsible for us.”
“Mama’s right,” Mountain adds once he notices the way Rain is staring at Cumulus in confusion. “Acknowledging that you’ve done something wrong can be really tricky, but you’ve done such a good job at understanding why it was bad, minnow. We’re very proud of you, Rain.”
At Mountain’s side, a very quiet, sleepy voice pipes up, “Wain didded a good dob.”
Mountain looks down at Dew and smiles widely. “That’s right, firefly!” He exclaims, hoisting the little fire ghoul up into his arms and resting him on his hip. Dew immediately starts nuzzling his face into Mountain’s shoulder and wrapping his arms around him. “Rain did a very good job.” He turns his attention back away from Dew to find Rain and Cumulus looking at the pair of them, smiles plastered on both of their faces.
Cumulus takes Rain’s hand and guides him over to Mountain, holding her arms out for Dew once they reach the stove. “How about Mama takes our sleepy bubba with me to work on the pie crust, and since you’re so big and responsible, Rainy, you can help Dada with the stove.”
Rain’s mouth drops open in shock. “I get to do a stove?” His tone is so incredulous that Mountain can’t help but chuckle softly as he transfers Dew into Cumulus’ arms.
(She carries the fire ghoul around to the other side of the bench and seats him on one of the tall chairs, plopping herself down on a stool and sliding the pie crust over to her side of the bench. Now Dew doesn’t have to worry about standing up, and he’s free to sit back against his chair and watch his Mama get to work on tonight’s dessert through steadily drooping eyelids. When Dew does, eventually, fall asleep, there is no doubt that Cumulus will fetch the fire ghoul’s favourite soft blanket to swaddle him in and hold him close to her, keeping him safe as he allows himself to rest.)
“Only if you promise to be very safe, minnow,” Mountain cautions. “The stove is really hot, so if you want to help me stir and keep an eye on it, you’ve got to be careful, love.”
Rain jumps up and down excitedly, mercifully a safe distance from the stovetop, but Mountain adjusts the handle so it isn’t sticking out towards the kitchen anyway; can’t be too careful with an overexcited little ghoul running around. “I will be so caref’l, Dada! Pinky promise!”
Mountain smiles down at the earnest water ghoul and holds his pink out. “Well, if we’re pinky promising then it must be a very serious promise, hmm?”
Rain giggles and nods, holding out his own pinky and linking it with Mountain’s. He shakes their joined hands and Mountain has to suppress a laugh of his own as he struggles to free himself from his minnow’s surprisingly strong grip. “Rai– Rain let go, the pan’s going to burn!” Mountain’s tone holds no urgency—the stove is set on a low enough heat that Mountain doesn’t think it’s even possible for it to burn—but Rain lets go of his hand with a gasp anyway.
“Nooo,” he cries out. “Don’ let it burn, Dada! We gotta stir it!” He picks up the spatula Mountain has been using to stir the mixture and waves it around urgently. A glob of sticky—thankfully cooled-down—pie filling flies off the end and lands right on the tip of Mountain’s nose.
Rain drops the spatula with a squeak—more of the jam-like substance finding a new home on the floor—and looks up at Mountain, mortified. “D– Dada–” he tries.
“Oh no,” Mountain starts, a playful glint in his eyes. “I’m not Dada anymore… I’m the pie monster! And I’ve come to eat little ghouls who spill pie on their Dadas!”
Rain giggles and starts running, shrieking when he turns around to see Mountain starting to follow him around the kitchen.
As Rain starts running, Mountain starts up again. “I also eat little ghouls who don’t listen to their Mamas and Dadas and run in the kitchen even though they’ve been told not to!”
Rain slows down to a walk almost immediately. “Sorry, Dada,” he whispers quietly, just in case the pie monster is still listening.
“That’s okay, minnow,” Mountain whispers back. “Thank you for being safe.” He smiles over at Rain gently before raising his arms above his head again. Mountain is gone now, and the pie monster returns! “Now, come back here! I need to find the ghoul who summoned me so I can wipe the pie filling all over him!”
Rain yelps again, speed-walking over to where Cumulus and Dew are sitting. “Mama, help me! Pie mons’er is gonna eat me!”
Cumulus wraps the arm that’s not holding Dew close to her around Rain, holding both ghouls close to her body. “Pie monster, be gone!” She can’t keep a straight face and neither can Mountain, but Rain doesn’t seem to mind, still so caught up in this little universe they’ve all created (Dew is asleep and doesn’t have any strong opinions on the matter).
Despite Cumulus' best efforts, Mountain keeps advancing slowly, arms outstretched. All at once, the earth ghoul reaches out and grabs Rain, tugging the little water ghoul towards him, peppering his face with kisses, growling playfully as both of them pretend this is the worst possible fate that could befall Rain. The water ghoul shrieks and giggles, trying his best to wiggle out of Mountain’s arms to no avail.
“Mama, he gotted me! Save Dewy!”
Cumulus gives him a mock salute and holds the still-sleeping bundle of Dew more tightly in her arms. The little fire ghoul squirms and whines at the movement before settling back down into a deep sleep.
Rain glances over at Mountain, and ah hah! While the earth ghoul is distracted by Dew’s sleepy noises, Rain leans over and licks the pie filling right off of his nose.
Mountain blinks once or twice, trying to process what has just happened before he bursts out laughing and hugs Rain even closer. “Wow, you saved me from the pie monster! Thank you, minnow.”
Rain beams. “Uh huh!” A pause as he pulls back to stare at Mountain. “...Do we go make a pie now?”

Rain basks in the cool, dark, quiet of the lake. Shortly after his summoning, Rain had discovered the lake adjoining the abbey. It quickly became his favorite place to escape to. Whenever the noise and chaos of the ministry got to be too much, Rain could inevitably be found at the waterfront. Dipping his feet in while sitting on the pier. Swimming lazy laps back and forth. Sitting at the bottom of the lake and watching the fish dart by. Anything really if it meant finding solace in his element.
Tonight, he simply floats on his back. He lets the current gently steer him around; not minding if he gets carried far from the shore. The more distance from the light and noise, the better.
He’s fallen asleep out here before like this; lulled by the hum of cicadas and the lapping of water. He’d be perfectly happy to spend most nights out here if it weren’t for how cozy cuddle piles with the other ghouls could be. Even tonight he longs for some of that comfort. However, his need for peace and quiet is stronger.
Suddenly another sound enters the night. Someone with a soprano’s range is singing. It’s a welcome addition to the symphony of night sounds. The voice works its way in and mingles with the hum of insects and splishes of the water. It’s melodic. Haunting and beautiful. Rain instantly knows its source. Aurora.
He raises his head and sure enough, the petite ghoulette is perched on the small dock off in the distance. Rain turns over and ducks underwater. He swims over quickly, resurfacing to the side of the pier. He does so just in time to hear Aurora belt out an almost angelic sustained note that echoes across the water.
“That was beautiful.” He hums.
Aurora startles and looks around.
Rain waves to her from the water and she relaxes. “Hi Rain. I didn’t realize you were out here.”
“Yeah, the lake is really nice at night. It’s quiet.”
“Oh, sorry! I didn’t mean to disturb you. I can go…” The ghoulette ducks her head shyly and makes to stand.
“No, it's okay.” Rain paddles over to the front edge of the dock and sets his arms on the ledge. “Stay?”
“Okay.” She nods with a smile, and settles back down.
“You can keep singing if you want.”
Aurora's smile widens.
Rain rests his chin on his crossed arms as he listens. Like before, her voice melds delightfully with the ambient sounds. It’s as if she’s conducting. The swish of cattails in the wind, the croak of frogs, and the push and pull of the water, following her lead.
Rain can’t help but want to join in. He hesitantly adds his own voice to the swell of sound. Aurora encourages him with a grin. Rain doesn’t sing much. At least not around the others; normally too shy too. But now, guided by Aurora, he finds a voice he didn’t know he had. When their duet comes to a grand finale of a preserved crescendo, Aurora laughs.
“I didn’t know you could sing!”
Rain shrugs, blushing. “Thanks.”
“You should join in with the backing vocals at practice. You’ve got an amazing voice.”
“Eh, I’ll stick to the bass. You, Cumulus, and Swiss have got things covered.”
“Hmm, alright.”
The two lapse into a comfortable silence. Aurora sits cross legged on the edge of the pier. Rain floats on his back again, but anchors himself with a hand on a dock support. They sit like this for a while, watching the stars move across the sky.
Rain can’t help but feel that despite the peace and calm, something’s missing. He wishes Aurora would fill the night with her haunting voice once more.
Rain breaks the quiet first. “So…you adjusting to life topside alright?” Aurora was a fairly new summon and had only been living at the abbey for a couple of months.
She takes a minute to contemplate the question; dipping a finger into the water and watching the ripples thoughtfully. “Hmm. It's really different from…down there. I think I like it. I’ve never had a pack before. Everyone is so nice and welcoming.” She pauses again before softly admitting, “It can get really overwhelming sometimes though. So many people and so much noise.”
Rain hums knowingly.
“I wouldn’t trade it for anything! But, sometimes I just need to get away.”
“Yeah. I feel that. When I first came topside it was a lot like that for me too. I love the others, but man can they be loud.”
Aurora giggles. “Like, Swiss is really funny but where does all that energy come from? Oh and Dew is constantly up to something. And Mountain? I share a wall with him. He snores like a hell hound.”
It’s Rain’s turn to laugh. “I don’t envy you. Oh, just wait til Lupercalia and Samhain. The whole abbey gets sent into a frenzy. I have literally slept out here some nights because the others were partying so long and hard.”
“Geez, I may have to join you.” She snorts. Then flushes. ”If…that’s okay with you.”
“Please. It’s not like I own the lake or something. The more the merrier.”
"Okay! I may take you up on that."
After another easy silence, Aurora suddenly exclaims, “Oh! You can see Mars really clearly tonight.”
“Huh?”
Aurora points at the sky. “See that red star?”
“Uh…oh! Yeah!”
“And that one,” She points at a different twinkling light, “is Saturn.”
“Do you like astronomy?”
“I adore it!” Aurora grins from ear to ear. “As soon as I found out the abbey had a library, I read all the astronomy books I could get my hands on.” She waves her hands excitedly as she talks.
Rain pulls himself up out of the water to sit on the pier beside her. “And what’s that one?” He points. “It looks like it’s blinking?”
“Hehe, that's an airplane. But that,” She moves his arm to indicate a different light. “is Sirius. The North Star.”
“What about that one?” He points elsewhere.
“That's the big dipper. See that little star there? And the ones next to it? Then the square they make at the end?”
Aurora continues to point out all the visible constellations as well as explain which ones will become visible once the season changes. She even knows some of the stories associated with the stars from many different mythologies. Rain is just content to listen. Even though he’d come out here looking for solitude and quiet; what he’s found in Aurora’s gentle presence is truly what he needed.
Aurora is interrupted mid explanation as she fights to stifle a yawn.
“You getting tired?”
“Yeah, a little.”
“Let's head back then.”
“I can get back fine on my own. Don’t feel like you have to come in if you still want to sit out here for a while.”
“Nah, it’s getting late. I’ll walk back with you. Plus, if you're okay with it, I’d like to hang out with you some more.”
“Hehe, you sure? I must be boring you.”
“Of course not. I want to hear all about all the constellations that you haven’t told me about yet.”
“Okay! Do you want to crash in my room tonight?”
“Sure.”
The two ghouls make their way back to the abbey, Rain shaking himself dry before they enter. They pass the common room where the rest of the pack is still going strong, shouting and laughing over board games. Upon reaching Aurora’s room, the ghoulette flops on the bed.
Rain stops at the doorway. “I’ll be right back. I’m gonna shower real quick.”
“Kay.” Aurora snuggles into her comforter.
Rain ducks into his room, and showers quickly. After drying off and changing into a clean tee and shorts, he heads back to Aurora’s room. When he enters, he finds her curled up in a nest of blankets, already fast asleep.
He quietly closes the door behind him and dims the lights before carefully joining her on the bed. Lifting the blankets up just enough to slide underneath, he lays next to her, his chest to her back.
The motion rouses Aurora and she sleepily rolls over so she’s facing Rain. She inches in close, pressing her forehead to his chest and tossing her arms around him. Rain wraps an arm around her back and nuzzles between her horns. Their tails meet and twine together.
Only in Aurora’s warm embrace does Rain realize just how strongly he’d been craving physical affection. He melts into her, letting himself relax. Aurora starts to hum a soft rendition of the song she’d been singing before, and Rain knows he’s done for. Together, the two ghouls drift off into peaceful sleep.

Dewdrop was the only one up this late; the rumbling of the tour bus wasn’t lulling him to sleep like it usually did, so he gave up on trying to sleep and got out of his bunk to go and sit on the couch in the main area of the bus.
The ghoul had been sitting on the couch for almost an hour now, watching the TV at a low volume so it didn’t disturb anyone else. Upon hearing the door to the bunk area click open, Dew looked over, trying to make out who the figure in the doorway was. He squinted slightly, trying to adjust his eyes to the dark. The figure stepped forwards, the light from the TV illuminating him.
“Phantom? What do you want?” Dewdrop asked, his tone unnecessarily harsh. The young ghoul squeaked out a response, too quiet to hear.
“Fuck’s sake, speak up would you!?” Dew snapped, clenching his jaw.
Phantom stepped forwards again, allowing Dew to see him properly. The quintessence ghoul had the spade of his tail in his mouth, gently suckling on it. His hair was sticking up all over the place and he had tear tracks on his cheeks. He’d been crying.
Dewdrop sighs irritably, not quite yet realising the state of the poor ghoul.
“Speak, would you? Or go bother someone else.” Dew mutters, turning his attention back to the TV. He hears a little whimper from Phantom; he groans and looks back at him.
“Satanas, what is wrong with you?!” Dew snaps again.
That does it. Phantom bursts into tears.
“I- I had b-bad dream. Swissy i-is sleeping.” Phantom manages to stutter out between his sobs. His vocabulary is limited and his voice is muffled around his tail that is still in his mouth.
Immediately, Dew’s eyes widen. He hadn’t realised the state that the younger ghoul was in; Phantom was regressed and Dew had just yelled at him, making him burst into tears. The older ghoul sighs, standing up from the couch.
“Fuck- I mean shit- damn it! Okay, alright… Phantom?” Dew mumbles as he slowly approaches Phantom. The young ghoul backs away slightly, still sobbing.
“Hey, come on. I’m not gonna hurt you, quint.” Dew says, his voice softening. He holds his arms out to Phantom, offering him to come closer.
As Phantom toddled over to Dew, the fire ghoul realised just how little Phantom was; he was wobbly on his feet, sucking on the spade of his tail like a pacifier. Even the way he’s crying. He was regressed much younger than Dew had seen any of the other ghouls be.
“Oh, you’re really little right now, aren’t you?” Dew coos softly. Once Phantom is close enough, Dewdrop wraps him in a gentle hug and softly rubs his back.
Phantom says nothing, but allows himself to be wrapped in Dew’s arms. His crying has calmed down a little, but there are still tears running down his cheeks and his breathing is shaky.
“I’m sorry, little quint. I didn’t mean to shout at you, I didn’t realise that you’re-”
Dewdrop pauses and sighs.
“I shouldn’t have shouted at you, end of.” He mumbles.
The fire ghoul leads Phantom to the couch, getting him to sit down. Dew wraps his arms around the young ghoul, pulling him to his chest.
Phantom lets out a little whimper as he cries, burying his face into Dew’s shoulder.
“Shh, shh, shh. Don’t cry, honey. You’re okay. You’re safe.” He brings his hand up to run his fingers through Phantom’s messy hair, keeping one arm wrapped around him. The young ghoul brings his tail back to his mouth, suckling on it once again; Dew frowns as he watches him.
“Hey, quint, don’t do that please. It’s not good for your your tail, you’ll end up hurting it.” Dew says softly, trying to pull the tail out of the quintessence ghouls mouth. Phantom whines and looks up at Dew with big watery eyes. Dewdrop sighs, then fumbles about in his back pocket.
“Can you try this for me? It’s Mountain’s, but I’m sure he won’t mind you borrowing it.” He says, pulling a pacifier from his pocket and offering it to the young ghoul.
Phantom lets his tail drop out of his mouth and cautiously leans his face closer to the pacifier. Dew gently pushes it against his lips, encouraging him to take it. Phantom does, taking it into his mouth hesitantly. After a few minutes, he looks up at the older ghoul, grinning around the pacifier.
“You like the paci, bug?” Dew questions, stroking his fingers through Phantom’s hair. Phantom nods, softly sucking on the pacifier as he looks up at Dew.
“Maybe we’ll have to get you your own, huh? That sounds like a good idea?”
Phantom nods excitedly and starts shuffling around on couch, eventually planting himself on Dew’s lap. He curls up against him and nuzzles his face into the fire ghoul’s chest. Dewdrop watches him with a raised eyebrow and lets out a slight chuckle as Phantom settles himself in his lap.
“Oh, just gettin’ comfy, hm?” Dew coos softly, wrapping his arms back around Phantom’s body.
The quintessence ghoul hums quietly in response, already closing his eyes. He mumbles something into Dew’s chest.
“T’ank you, Dewy.”
Dewdrop all but feels his heart melt; he places a soft kiss to the top of Phantom’s head and cradles him to his chest.
“You’re welcome, baby bug.” Dew mumbles into Phantom’s hair.
Maybe he should give the new quintessence ghoul more of a chance. Maybe he shouldn’t take his anger about Aether on Phantom.
From that night on, Dewdrop vowed to himself that he wouldn’t ever hurt the young ghoul again; nor would he let anyone else.

You had gotten to dinner later than normal because of some overflow work you were assigned. Being Sister Imperator’s assistant had its perks, but most of the time it left you with a stack of paper the size of your torso. That’s how you ended up displaced in the dining hall. Where you normally sat with the other Siblings who have been at the Ministry for a decent amount of time was crowded. You couldn’t justify trying to worm your way in. So you took up an open spot with some of the newer Siblings at the end of the hall. You were engrossed in your own world trying to get your brain to stop buzzing for the better part of the meal, only occasionally answering some questions or clearing up misunderstandings that you may have overheard. That was until you heard snickering. You looked up and noticed that the ghouls of The Ghost Project were seated at a table not far from yours. You also noticed that one of them, the quintessence ghoul by the looks of it, was approaching while Dew and Swiss tried and failed to hide their amusement.
The Siblings you were seated with forgot about any conversations that might've been going on when the ghoul came to a stop at the head of the table, his tail wagging rapidly. The mask may have hidden his face, but his mood was clear as day. Everyone at the table looked at him with wide wonder-filled eyes. You just cocked your head at him with a small smile. His tail beat faster if that was even possible.
“I couldn’t help but overhear some of you have never seen ghoul magic before.” He smiled so wide his fangs were peeking out from his lips. Some of the Siblings made small noises in affirmation too wonderstruck to formulate a proper response.
“Well lucky for you I learned a new trick! Do you wanna see it?” All it took was one nodding their head for him to clap his hands together “Great! I’ll need a volunteer though.”
You had never seen people move so quickly in your life. Each one of the Siblings was leaning over one another to get closer to the ghoul in hopes they’d be picked. He just laughed and held up his hands in a passive gesture.
“Alright okay, how about…you!”
The ghoul motions to the Sibling closest to him. He nods his head eagerly and waits for whatever instruction. The ghoul reaches out and places a hand on his shoulder. The air smells like ozone for a brief moment and you can hear a faint static noise as you watch tiny purple sparks dance to life and connect the two. Everyone at the table seems to be holding their breath watching with an intensity you don’t even see during Black Mass. You huff a little amused laugh and eat while you watch the display.
When the ghoul removes his hand the Sibling is staring at him in awe as he beams down at him. There’s a confused murmur through the group and out of instinct you answer their questioning
“Telepathy. Some quint ghouls have that ability.”
It’s almost humorous how casually you talk about demons and magic. It goes quiet for a moment. You look up from your plate to see all of the Siblings and the ghoul staring at you. His mouth was half open and it was only then did you realized you definitely just interrupted him. You panic internally for about a second before you notice his tail never stopped wagging. He made a move to walk over to your spot at the table, but he didn’t get very far before he was yanked backward with a yelp.
“Stop bothering the Siblings and eat your food before it gets cold or else you get leftovers in the den.” You recognized the voice of Cirrus from under the mask.
The moment he was gone, they all began questioning the man who was lucky enough to be chosen. He tried his best to describe it, but it was obvious he was floundering under the attention. You weren’t completely exhausted yet so you decided to throw him a bone and began to explain what you knew of ghoul magic and some of the things you’ve seen it do. However, the entire time you spoke you couldn’t help but notice the little quintessence ghoul hadn’t taken his eyes off you once. Every time he realized you were looking back, he would wave and smile broadly, and every single time Dew and Swiss would tease him. You couldn’t help but laugh at the display, it was pretty cute seeing how excited he got.
After you had finished and decided you had enough conversation for one night, you stood to leave, bidding everyone at the table a nice night. You made it approximately five feet out of the dining hall before you felt a clawed hand on your wrist. You stopped and turned to face none other than the little quintessence ghoul. His purring was filling the otherwise quiet hallway.
You cock your head with a smile not quite reaching your tired eyes.
“Need something…?”
“Phantom.” He grinned.
“Phantom.”
He trilled happily “Say it again.”
You huffed a laugh and took your hand from his grasp “Answer my question first.”
He took his helmet off, shook his hair out, and looked at you with bright eyes, cheeks dusted a deeper purple.
“Can I spend the night with you?” His tail wagged as he waited for your answer.
That was not what you were expecting him to say if you were being honest with yourself. You had been at the Ministry for years now, so random demons offering a night of sin was nothing surprising. What was surprising was just how forward he was. Usually, it took the new ghouls a bit of time to gain that level of confidence and interest in the humans of the Ministry.
When the silence dragged his face flustered deeper.
“That’s not what I meant dear Sibling…I mean well not unless you’re offering.”
You smile amused at the way his voice pitched higher awkwardly, you almost feel bad for your response.
“Not tonight Phantom. I’m exhausted from work.”
“Oh! Well that’s fine we can just—“
“I meant no to both sweetheart.”
The wag of his tail faltered as his purring got softer. You didn’t miss the brief flash of disappointment in his expression before he tried to hide it. He lightly shook his head causing his earrings to jingle.
“Well…can I walk with you to your room?”
You laughed “Sure I don’t see why not.”
“Great!” He immediately grabbed your hand and started walking down the hallway. You gave a light tug on his hand. He looked at you with a little ‘mmrr?’ sound.
“Uh, Phantom…my room is that way.” You pointed to the right with your other hand.
He smiled awkwardly making a noise of affirmation and turned to the direction you pointed to and began walking with your hand still in his. He definitely has not gotten used to his otherworldly strength because he was practically dragging you behind him. Eventually, you gathered your footing and were able to walk side by side. He kept glancing at you as he walked and would startle every time you caught him.
When you arrived at the door to your room you dropped his hand ready to say goodnight. Before you could squeak even one word out he wrapped you in a tight but quick hug. You rolled your eyes with a smile and hugged him back with a pat on his back. When he let go you opened your door and stepped in but not before turning around to him.
“Goodnight Phantom.”
You began to close the door and noticed that he tilted his head to keep looking at you until it was completely closed.
You smiled at the closed door for a moment before going about your before-bed routine. You flopped onto the horde of fluffy pillows and blankets and let the events of the day replay in your head. You let out a sigh feeling content at finally having a moment to yourself. It’s not that you didn’t like sitting with the new Siblings, but it felt more like babysitting or hanging out with a coworker. Then you thought to Phantom. You smiled to yourself. New ghouls were always so much fun, they were always so curious about everything Earth had to offer. It was even better when they finally got used to the company of humans and began seeking interactions. You would be lying if you said you didn’t find his behavior a bit endearing already. You had a feeling this wouldn’t be the last time Phantom followed you back to your room.
Turns out, that came much earlier than you expected. You had woken up a bit before your alarm and decided to just accept your fate and get up and ready for the day. When you opened your door to leave, you immediately tripped over something. The mass in front of your door let out a surprised yelp. You caught yourself before falling. When you turned around you were met with the sight of Phantom slowly sitting up rubbing sleep from his eyes.
“G’moring.” He said with a yawn that ended in a whine.
“Phantom I did you…did you sleep there all night?”
“Yeah, why?” He asked it so casually with a hint of genuine confusion.
You stared at him bug-eyed
“Why? You weren’t kicked out of the ghoul den already were you?”
He cocked his head raising an eyebrow
“Uhh no? I wanted to walk with you to breakfast but then I realized I didn’t know how early you got up and then I realized I usually sleep late. So naturally the solution was to sleep right here.” He emphasized his statement by tapping the floor with his tail causing the piercings to scrape against the stone.
You laughed with a mix of amusement and disbelief “Naturally.”
You held out your hand to him and he took it eagerly. You helped him up and he hugged you again. As you two walked to the dining hall, he wrapped his tail around your wrist. With how early it was there weren’t many people at breakfast which you didn’t mind. It was mostly older Siblings and a few Clergy ghouls. The Siblings gave you knowing looks and you just rolled your eyes in amusement. The only other band ghoul that was present was Cirrus. When she noticed the way Phantom was leaning practically on top of you she came over.
“Bug I think you’re suffocating the dear Sibling.”
You shook your head as he whined “It’s fine Cirrus I don’t mind.” You reached up to scratch behind his pointed ears for emphasis. His tail beat heavily against the bench as a loud purr kicked up in his chest.
“Alright alright but if he does start bothering you, you know where to find me.” She said with amusement.
“I can handle myself” you grinned at her “I know how to handle a ghoul.”
Her tail flicked playfully behind her as she turned to go back to where she had sat.
You finished breakfast rather quickly after that and untangled Phantom’s tail from your arm making him pout. You apologized and gave him a quick explanation of your job as Sister Imperator’s assistant and why you had to go so suddenly. He seemed to accept it despite his dejected look. You ruffled his hair and bid him a good day which caused him to brighten a bit.
~~~
Apparently Phantom didn’t quite accept your explanation. Your task for the day, after finishing the paperwork you didn’t get to yesterday, was to run around the Ministry delivering said paperwork to whomever it applied to. Somehow every corner you turned you bumped into Phantom. At first, he would apologize, give your hand a squeeze, and then walk off to do his own chores, but after he realized you didn’t seem to be getting annoyed with the ‘coincidences’ he simply started to follow you around. He kept his distance for a bit genuinely not wanting to interfere with your job, but every time you turned and caught his eye and didn’t tell him off he would creep closer.
By the end of the day, he was practically your personal escort, walking side by side with you asking you questions just to hear you talk with his tail curled idly around your arm. Little did you know, that soon became your new daily routine. You would wake up to him waiting eagerly outside your door so you could walk to the dining hall together. He would disappear for a bit to speed through his own chores before coming to find you no matter what task Imperator had you up to. When you finished you two would then go to the dining hall for dinner where you’d make faces and hand gestures to each other from the tables while the ghoul pack and your friends respectively tease you both. It didn’t take much longer before he started to sleep over every so often.
As the months crawled on and the first tour date came closer you began to see less of him which made your heart oddly heavy. You tried, and failed, to not think too much about it. You obviously didn’t like him, he was just being friendly. You saw the way he interacted with the other ghouls and some other Siblings or the way he acted when you would sneak a peek at rehearsals. He was just affectionate! He liked attention! But he only walked with you. He only got up early to meet you. He only looked at you doing dinner. He only followed you back to your room. And his purring helped you sleep so much better than any weighted blanket. And the way his tail always betrayed his emotions. And how his eyes always lit up when he spotted you. And maybe your heart skipped a beat when he once confided in you after a rough rehearsal saying that you made him feel grounded.
Aw, shit was all you could think as you felt your cheeks heat and the list of reasons grew. You shook your head slightly to clear it and returned to the task at hand. You had been working on a massive project for Imperator that needed to be finished before the band went on tour. It’s taken up practically all your time, you barely had time to get proper meals in. That also meant you’ve been having less and less time with Phantom. You could tell it was definitely affecting him just as much. The moments you two did get together he was even more clingy, if that was even possible. He also seemed more tired, he still was rather energetic, but he definitely seemed toned down. Your suspicions were confirmed when he got back from a longer-running rehearsal and his quintessence sparked to life without him even noticing. He also took to sleeping in your bed every night now, burying his face deep into the crook of your neck and passing out with his tail wrapped around your waist.
You worked for a few more hours before leaning back in your chair to stretch. Your eye caught the clock on the wall and you cursed. It was well past midnight. Phantom’s rehearsal ended four hours ago. You found a good stopping point and quickly packed everything up and made your way to your room. You were ready to have to spend the night on your own for the first time in almost a month. You were already ragged from working all day and the idea of having your new routine, your only time with Phantom, getting disturbed made you feel even worse. You choked down the burn in your throat as you pushed your bedroom door open.
“There’s my comet.”
You gasped and looked up to see a rather exhausted-looking Phantom sitting happily on your bed. He was already in his pajamas and there were multiple books stacked on your nightstand. He blinked slowly and cracked a wide smile.
You smiled in return and willed yourself not to cry in front of him. However, the way his brows knit together before standing up and walking over to you reminded you. Quintessence ghouls can feel emotions. He crushed you against his chest and kicked up a purr in his chest. You attempted to stutter out a mix of an apology and an explanation, but he just shushed you and practically threw you both backward onto your bed. You didn’t even care you were still in your day clothes, you didn’t want to move now that you were right where you wanted to be. And then you smelled it. The air had suddenly felt electric. The scent of ozone and frost filled the space. You felt a little tingle in your mind before hearing Phantom.
I’m so happy you’re here. I missed you so fucking much. I like you so fucking much.
Your eyes snapped open. Oh. You definitely weren’t meant to hear that, at least not like this. However, your sleep-deprived mind couldn’t care less at the moment.
“Hey.” You shifted your shoulder to get him to lift his head from your neck.
“Huh? What is it?”
You gave him a quick, chaste kiss on his lips before pulling back and kissing his nose.
“I missed you too.”
It took him approximately five seconds to really understand what just happened as you sent him entirely offline. When his brain finally caught up, though, he laughed with so much genuine joy that it made your heart beat a little faster. He pulled you so impossibly close to him and peppered your whole face with kisses before leaving a long kiss on your lips. He nuzzled his face right back into your neck as you scratched between his horns. The silence was periodically broken with Phantom giggling to himself and pressing another kiss to your neck and shoulder. This went on until he ended up falling asleep with a slight smile on his face and a purr deep in his chest.
You curled into his hold and never felt more content in your life. You closed your eyes and fell into a peaceful sleep soothed by his rumble and his weight.
Okay. So maybe you did like him. Just a little bit.
Hi I’ve been seeing your regressed ghouls for a while and wanted to make a request! Could you maybe do regressed ghoul!reader and Mountain. Mountain calls reader bug! 🫶🏽
Hi anon! Absolutely! I hope this is what you’re after! I wrote this super fast on my phone so I apologise in advance lol
Regressed Ghoul!Reader + Caregiver!Mountain
Notes: Completely SFW of course, Gender neutral reader.
Tenderness.
You woke up feeling different this morning. You couldn’t put your finger on what it was exactly, you just knew that your head felt fuzzy. Swinging your legs over the edge of your bed, you frowned. Something didn’t feel right; your head felt fuzzy and your body felt too big and clumsy. Carefully, you stand up on wobbly legs and make your way out of your room and to the common room as you felt tears welling up in your eyes.
Looking around the common room, you could see Rain, Dew and Swiss cuddled up on the couch. You suddenly jump, feeling a hand on your shoulder; looking up, you see Mountain smiling down at you.
“Hey, Y/N. You okay?” He asks, his voice gentle.
You think for a minute, but you’re struggling to form words and the tears in your eyes spill over. Mountain’s smile falters and he’s immediately wrapping his arms around you, rubbing your back.
“What’s wrong, honey?” He asks, his voice laced with concern.
“F-feel.. wrong. Fuzzy. B-bad.” You manage to stutter out. Your voice doesn’t come out like you want it to; you stumble over the simple words, struggling to pronounce them.
Mountain seems to catch on immediately, just from the tone of your voice. He puts his hands under your arms and lifts you up with ease, resting you on his hip as he puts one arm under you to support you.
“Oh, bug. You feelin’ small?” He asks, moving to the armchair and sitting down with you on his lap.
You bury your face into his shoulder and start sobbing, your entire body trembling.
“D-don’t like it, Mounty. F-feels weird.” You stutter in between sobs. Mountain sighs and wraps his arms around you tightly, bringing his hand up to gently stroke through your hair.
“Shh, shh, shh. You’re okay, baby bug. Can you take some deep breaths for me?” He shushes softly, continuing to hold you.
You try your best to do as he says, taking in deep breaths and then slowly exhaling. After a while, you feel yourself start to calm down and you snuggle up more into Mountain’s embrace, nuzzling your face to his neck.
“That’s it, bug. You’re doing so well.” He praises, kissing your forehead softly.
“Don’t feel right, Mounty…” You mumble against his neck.
“I know, baby bug. Your head feels fuzzy? It’s okay, bug. You feel little, huh?” He says, his voice sweet and caring.
“Mhm… feel… little. Head not working right.” You mumble, still struggling with your pronunciation. You bring your tail up to your face, putting the spade into mouth. It feels… soothing, almost.
“Well, that’s okay, bug. It happens sometimes. Nothing to be scared of, okay? You’ve seen it happen to Dew before, haven’t you? And Rain?” Mountain reassures, still running his fingers through your hair.
“Mhm… Dewy and Rainy go little? They feel like this too?” You question, looking up at him with wide eyes.
“They certainly do, baby bug. It’s nothing unusual or scary, sweetheart. It just means you need a little extra help right now, okay?” He smiles, looking down at you with a kind smile as he strokes your hair away from your face.
You nod, suckling on the spade of your tail as you look up at him with glassy eyes.
“You’re okay, bug. I’ve got you. Maybe Rain or Dew will let you play with some of their toys, huh? How does that sound?” He coos, softly stroking your cheek.
“Maybe… Not now. Want you now, Mounty.” You mumble, your tail muffling your voice.
“Got it, play later. For now, I’ll just hold you, hm?” He smiles sweetly down at you.
You nod, letting out a little happy chirp as you nuzzle your face back to his neck. Mountain chuckles and wraps his arms firmly around you, cradling you against his large frame.
“Such a sweet little thing, aren’t you, bug?” He coos, stroking your hair softly.
A/N: I can’t get age-regressed ghouls out of my brain, so here you go! I don’t know if this is any good and my brain is kind of a mess. Please send in requests for anything to do with the ghouls, I need something to focus on. Enjoy :)
Regressed!Phantom + CG!Swiss.
Swiss was sat on the couch, minding his own business as he flipped through a book he had been reading. His attention was suddenly flipped to the ghoul now stood in front of him, tapping his knee.
“Swissy?” A small voice speaks.
Phantom was stood in front of the larger ghoul, his hair a mess and one of his hands clutching a blanket. Swiss tilted his head at him, immediately recognising the look on the younger ghouls face.
“Oh hey there, sweetheart. Are you okay?” Swiss asked, his voice quiet and kind.
Phantom nodded, staring at the ground as he nervously chewed on his bottom lip.
“Are you sure, bug?” Swiss repeated, sitting up slightly to reach his hand out to Phantom, gently hooking his finger under the smaller ghouls chin.
“I had… had bad dream, Swissy.” Phantom mumbled, looking at Swiss with slightly watery eyes.
The multi-ghoul frowned, looking at Phantom.
“Oh dear, little one. Did you get scared?” Swiss asked with a gentle voice as he slowly stood to his feet.
“Y-yeah… I was big when I went to sleep, but woke up scared and little.” Phantom stuttered out, looking up at him as a tear rolls down his cheek.
“Oh, sweetheart. Do you want me to help you get back to sleep, hm?” Swiss asked, gently wiping Phantom’s tear away with his thumb.
“Pwease, Swissy.” Phantom pleaded, moving to outstretch his arms, his hands making grabby motions at Swiss.
The taller ghoul chuckled, not hesitating to pick him up. He wrapped one arm around Phantoms back, the other one supporting him under his thighs.
“Your room, Swissy. Mine is scary.” Phantom whispered quietly as he wrapped his arms around Swiss’ neck, snuggling against him.
Hey, I was wondering if you could write something about phantom? There's barely anything out there 🥺
Hey anon! I would love to <3 This is a little Phantom x Reader for you :)
I’m sorry it’s so short! I don’t know why I struggled so much with this one, got intense writers block. Hope you enjoy!
/
You’re sat on a couch in the common area, mindlessly flicking through the channels on the TV. It’s late, and once again, you just couldn’t drift off to sleep. Sighing softly to yourself, you stand up from the couch and make your way to the kitchen to make yourself a cup of tea. You hear shuffling footsteps enter the kitchen and you turn around, seeing Phantom stood in the doorway with a sleepy smile on his face.
“Hey, Phantom.” You mumble quietly, too tired to acknowledge him properly. Phantom is still pretty new, freshly summoned from the pit; and he had seemed pretty quiet as he took his time to settle in.
“Hi… Why are you up?” He replied sleepily, his tail swishing behind him slowly.
“Oh, uh, I couldn’t sleep.” You answer, taking a sip of your tea as you look at the ghoul. His wavy hair was a mess and his eyes were half-lidded, like he just woke up. He had a blanket wrapped around his shoulders as he tilted his head at you.
“I hope I didn’t wake you…” You add, sheepishly.
Phantom shrugs in response, looking at you with that same sleepy smile.
“Don’t worry, just wanted to check on you.” He says, stifling a yawn.
Making your way out of the kitchen, you sit back down on the couch with a sigh. The couch dips next to you as Phantom sits down, immediately snuggling into your side. You let out a chuckle; you always adored how affectionate the ghouls can be, especially when they’re tired.
“You aren’t gonna go back to bed?” You ask curiously, your hand coming up to run your fingers through his hair.
“Nah… M’gonna keep you company.” He mumbles, draping his arm over your waist as he settles in against you. As you stroke his hair, you can hear a low purr rumbling in his chest. You let yourself lean back into the couch, pulling Phantom slightly closer for comfort.
“Anythin’ bothering you? Or you just couldn’t sleep?” He asks, his voice quiet but sweet.
“Eh, I don’t know. Nothing in particular…” You respond, still running your fingers through his hair.
“You sure?” He mumbles, turning his head to nuzzle his nose to your neck slightly, making you shiver.
“M’sure…” You reply, your voice barely above a whisper. The ghoul hums quietly, nuzzling his nose up closer to your jaw as his hand gently strokes across your side. You sigh contentedly, relaxing into his touch. He purrs quietly, staying snuggled into your side.
It doesn’t take long before you’re both asleep on the couch.
Hey, if you won't mind, can you write for a really sweet and comfy quality time with Cirrus? I rarely find fics or hc's for her n it would be cool if u could do it! (nsfw or sfw upto you ^-^)
Hi anon!! Sure thing, we all need more Cirrus! Hope it’s what you’re after!!
Sick.
Cirrus Ghoulette x GN!Reader
Warnings: basically just fluff, mention of feeling sick.
A/N: This is so short I’m sorry!! It’s been a hectic couple of days lmao. Hope you enjoy though!
It’s almost 1pm, and you’re still snuggled up in bed- the covers wrapped around you tightly. You woke up feeling awful; stomach ache, feeling sick and absolutely freezing. Your phone had pinged multiple times, but you simply didn’t have the energy to answer it, groaning softly every time you heard the loud ping.
“Y/N? Are you in there, honey?” You heard Cirrus call out. You’re just about able to muster up a whine, loud enough for her to hear.
Cirrus cautiously opens the door, looking over at you curled up in bed. Frowning, she makes her way over to you.
“You okay, Y/N?” She asks as she makes her way to sit down on the edge of your bed.
Letting out another whine, you shake your head slightly.
“Hmm..” Cirrus says as she gently placed the back of her hand to your forehead. Her eyes widen ever so slightly at feeling how warm you are.
“Sweetie, you’re burning up…” She mumbles as she goes to pull the covers off of you.
“Cold.” You murmur, your hands gripping the top of the covers.
“Feel sick…” You add, unable to get full sentences out.
Cirrus sighs and swings her legs over the bed, shuffling to lay down next to you; the ghoulette puts her arm around your shoulders gently, moving your head to gently rest against her. Immediately, you adjust yourself so you’re snuggling into her side, whimpering quietly.
“I know, dear. Can I do anything? Have you eaten yet?” She questions, her free hand gently coming down to stroke a stray hair out of your face. You shake your head, staying pressed to her side.
“How about I put on a movie, hmm? I’ll stay until you feel better…” Cirrus suggests, still looking at you with concern. Seeing you nod, she reaches over and grabs the TV remote, switching through the channels until she finds a movie that sounds somewhat interesting. She gently wraps her other arm around your waist, softly tracing circles on your side with her fingers.
“Cirrus?” You mumble, lifting your head up slightly to look at her.
“Yeah, honey?” She responds, her eyes focused on the TV screen.
“Will you stay for a while?” You mumble again.
“Of course, I’ll stay here as long as you need me, sweetie.” She replies, leaning her head down so she can press a gentle kiss to your forehead.
“M’thank you.” You murmur, nuzzling yourself back against her.
Cirrus smiles, pulling you slightly closer to her.
Hello there anon! Absolutely, the big guy needs more love. I wrote this quickly so it’s kind of short, I hope you enjoy it!
This one’s for all the Mountain lovers out there <3
Sleepless Nights.
Mountain Ghoul x Reader
Warnings: Brief mentions of nightmares, but that’s literally it; the rest is fluff!
You woke up with a start, your heart feeling like it’s going to beat out of your chest. Groaning to yourself, you sit up in bed as you rub your eyes, letting them adjust to the darkness of the room. Taking a few deep breaths, you swing your legs over the side of the bed; there’s no way you were going to get back to sleep by yourself tonight. You stand up, stretching slightly as you make your way to the door. The chill of the night spread through you, making you shiver; you were only wearing pyjama shorts and a top after all.
You sigh, shuffling out of the room and into the hallway. Making your way out of your dorm section, you head down some stairs, going down to the ghoul wing. It was always kind of creepy at night, but you knew that the second you screamed; you’d have eight ghouls by your side, ready to fight for you. You walk up towards the ghoul’s rooms and as you walk, you come to a stop at one particular door. Gently knocking on it, you call out quietly.
“Mount? You awake?” You ask, your voice slightly shaky. At first, you can hear some shuffling about before a very sleepy looking earth ghoul opens the door, looking down at you curiously. His hair was a mess, sticking up all over the place and he was only wearing some sweatpants; his usual sleeping attire. You let a smile creep on your face as you looked at him.
“You alright, petal?” He asks, his voice raspy since you’d just woken him up.
“Mhm.. I just… Can’t sleep again…” You mumble, looking down at the floor as you speak. He sighs, smiling sleepily at you as he steps aside to let you in the room.
“Nightmares again, petal?” He asks, following you back into his room once he’s closed the door.
“Mhm…”
Mountain lays back in bed, holding his arms out to you. With no hesitation, you lay next to him; immediately snuggling into him and resting your head on his chest.
“Sorry to wake you, Mount.” You mumble as you nuzzle your face into his neck.
“S’fine, petal. C’mere.” He reassured, his arms wrapping tight around you, one hand going to your head so he can run his fingers through your hair.
Shivering slightly, you press yourself closer to him to try and warm yourself. He glances down at you, then pulls the covers up to cover you almost completely as he tightens his embrace. You let out a happy sigh, humming quietly as you feel the warmth from him surround you.
“Wanna talk about your nightmares?” He asks, his voice sounding slightly more awake.
“Not really… I just want to stay like this. Is that okay?” Mumbling against his neck, you feel him press a gentle kiss to the top of your forehead.
“‘Course. No worries, petal. I’m here if you want to talk about it though, okay?”
“Mhm, I know. Thank you, Mount.” You respond, bringing a hand up to rest on his chest.
Keeping his arms wrapped tightly around you, Mountain drifts back off to sleep with you still in his arms; you can feel and hear soft purrs coming from him as he sleeps. You smile to yourself, eventually nodding off to sleep aswell.
Hi anon! I hope you’re doing okay and can relax a bit this weekend. Hopefully this is what you’re after! <3
Let Me Hold You.
Autistic!Reader x Sodo Ghoul.
Warnings: Description of being overwhelmed, exhaustion.
Shakily, you stand up from the sofa in common room, your hands covering your ears. Swiss and Cirrus had been yelling back and forth at each other for a while now, it was getting way too much for you; you could gradually feel yourself getting more and more overwhelmed. You run out of the door, heading straight for your room. Suddenly, you run into something, almost sending you tumbling to the ground.
“Hey, woah. What’s the rush, Y/N?”
You look up to see Sodo, his face displaying a look of concern. You feel him place his hand softly on your shoulder, seemingly worried about you. His gentle touch just sent you over the edge and you feel tears you’ve been holding back spill over, as you let out a sob. At first, Sodo seems confused, but wraps his arms around you and pulls you into a tight hug. Burying your face into his shoulder, you start sobbing, unable to control it anymore.
“Talk to me, doll. I’m right here, I’ve got you.” He murmurs, his voice soft.
You shake your head as you let out another sob, burying yourself further into his embrace.
“Okay, alright. I’ve got you. You’re okay.” He reassures, soothingly rubbing your back as he holds you close to him. It doesn’t take too long for you to calm down, and when you do, you look up at him with tears still in your eyes. Sodo gently brings his hands up to your face, wiping your tears softly with his thumbs.
“You want to go lay down, doll? You look exhausted.” He asks, looking at you with sweet eyes.
You nod in response, sniffling slightly. He smiles, taking his arms from around you and holding out his hand. You look at him, a small smile on your face as you take his hand, as he begins to walk you to his room.
“Sodo… I’m sorry…” You mumble, squeezing his hand as you walk.
“Hey, you don’t need to apologise. You did nothing wrong, okay?” He reassures you, finally arriving at his door.
The fire ghoul looks down at you with a smile as he opens the door, letting you in first.
Walking in, you go and sit down on his bed, looking at him with wide eyes. He closes the door and moves to the other side of the bed and lays down, holding his arms out to you. Warily, you lay down next to him, shuffling closer as you rest his head on his chest.
“That’s it, c’mere.” He mumbles as he wraps his arms around you, planting a soft kiss against your forehead. You feel yourself grow warmer as you cuddle into him; something you know he’s doing to comfort you. Sodo starts gently running his fingers through your hair, humming quietly to soothe you.
You let out a small yawn and nuzzle closer to him, bringing your hand up to rest on his chest as you start playing with the ends of his long hair. He looks down at you, a comforting smile on his face.
“You can fall asleep, doll. I’ll be here when you wake up, okay?” He says, continuing to run his fingers through your hair. You look up at him, your eyes half-lidded and sleepy.
“Promise you’ll be here?” You mumble, still playing with his hair.
“I promise, doll.” Sodo smiles, pulling you in closer to him.
You snuggle back closer to him, nuzzling your face into his neck as you let out another yawn. Chuckling quietly, he starts tracing shapes on your hip as he keeps you close. It’s not much longer before you fall asleep, letting out sweet, quiet snores.
hi, could you please write an overwhelmed autistic reader x aether? i had a meltdown today and i really want some aether comfort content
Hello there! I hope you’re feeling a bit better and managed to get yourself some rest <3
I hope this is what you were after anon! Sorry it’s a little short, this is the second time I wrote this because it deleted itself the first time lmao.
I’m also autistic so I’m kind of writing from my experience, remember everyone experiences thing differently!
Noise.
Autistic!Reader (GN) x Aether Ghoul.
Warnings: Description of a panic attack/autistic meltdown/shutdown. Reader goes non-verbal for a while.
You ran out of the common room and into the hallway, sliding yourself down to the wall and onto the floor. Bringing your knees up to your chest, you rest your head there, bringing your hands up to pull at your hair. All you could hear in your ears was ringing; everything felt way too much. Rocking back and forth and pulling at your hair, you really tried to calm yourself down.
“Y/N, darling. What’s going on?”
You could barely hear Aether’s voice, let alone make out what he said, so you just let out a small whimper, still pulling at your hair. Feeling a hand come to rest on your wrist, you slowly looked up at him. A slight feeling over relief washes over you as the ringing in your ears quietened down a little.
“That’s it, keep your eyes on me. Can you talk right now?” He asked, his face soft and his eyebrows knotted together in concern.
Shaking your head in response to Aether, you slowly reach a shaking hand out to him, gripping his shirt tightly. He nods, sitting down cross-legged in front of you, close enough so you could cling to the fabric of his shirt.
“Okay, honey. Is it okay if I stay here with you?” He asks, searching your face for an answer.
You nod, your other hand still pulling at your hair. He reaches up, taking your hand into his and taking it away from your head. He holds it tightly in his hand, knowing that light pressure will only make it worse.
“Can you look at me, Y/N?”
You slowly lift your head up from your knees to look at him again, blinking away tears that are threatening to spill.
“Would a hug help? I know last time you said that deep pressure-”
Before he can finish his sentence, you crawl into his lap, pressing your face into his neck. Aether wraps his arms tightly around you, resting his head on top of yours.
“That’s it, I’ve got you sweetie.” He murmured softly, holding you tight to his chest.
You could feel yourself trembling slightly in his arms, but the longer you’re there, the better you feel. After around ten minutes, you untucked your head from his his neck, looking up at him.
“Aeth?” You mumble quietly.
“Yeah, darling?” he responds, brushing a stray hair from your face.
“m’sleepy…”
“I bet you are, Y/N. You wanna go take a nap?” He asks, a smile on his face. You nod, looking up at him with a small smile on your face.
“Right then!” He exclaimed, standing up with you still in his arms. You let out a little squeak which made him chuckle as he started walking to your room. Once you got there, he opened the door and walked in, putting you down on the bed and putting a blanket over you.
“Aeth? Can you stay?” You ask, a slight whine to your voice.
“Of course I can, Y/N.” He smiles as he crawls into bed next you, pulling you to his chest again.
“How’s that, darling?” He asks, his voice soft and sweet.
“Perfect.” You mumble, nuzzling into him. Two minutes later, you were asleep.
Warnings: Insecurity about weight, some negative associations with being bigger, smutty towards the end.
A/N: You can’t tell me Swiss wouldn’t be into bigger girls??? He definitely would be. (Just adding the fact that I’m plus-size myself… yes this may be an entirely self-indulgent fic.)
Y/N was stood in front of the mirror, examining herself. Letting out a sigh, she groaned as she wrapped her arms around herself. She hated how she looked in this damn dress.
“What’s up, baby?”
She saw Swiss approach her in the mirror, wrapping his arms around her from behind as he gently pressed his lips to her neck. Y/N sighed again, putting her hands over his.
“I hate this, Swiss. I feel disgusting…” She mumbled, turning around in his arms so she was facing him.
“What do you mean, my love?” He asked as he looked at her with his head tilted, slowly moving his hands from her waist to her hips.
“I just… I look so… awful and chunky.” She said, bringing her hands up to rest against his chest. Swiss looked at her, his brows furrowing in confusion.
“You’re joking, right?” He asks, being completely serious. He did not see anything wrong with the way she looked at all.
Y/N shook her head, her eyes flicking to the floor. He sighed, tilting her chin so she was looking at him again.
“Y/N, baby, you are literally the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. And trust me when I say, tonight you look absolutely breathtaking.” Swiss said, planting a soft kiss on her forehead.
“But… this dress, it just… it shows off everything… everything I don’t want it to show.” She mumbled with a sigh.
Swiss spun her round to face the mirror, standing behind her with his hands still on her hips.
“Y/N, are we seeing the same thing?” He asks, making her look at herself.
She moves her arms back across herself, covering her stomach as she sighed.
“My tummy, my thighs… everything looks massive.” She groaned, clearly feeling awful about herself.
“Baby, I think you look amazing. This-” He says as he moves his hands up to her stomach. “Is beautiful..” Swiss moves his hands back down, to her thighs this time. “Lucifer knows that you know how I feel about your thighs, my love.” He mumbles, nuzzling his face into her neck as he lets out a quiet purr.
Y/N chuckles slightly, shuddering as she feels his lips graze over her neck. A light blush spreads over her cheeks as she turned around to face him once again, her arms wrapping around his neck.
He wraps one arm around her waist, the hand other moves down to caress her ass. He lifts his head to look at her, a slight smirk on his face.
“How about I show you just how beautiful I think you are, huh?” He mutters, dropping his head to whisper in her ear. “How about I spread those pretty thighs?”
Y/N feels herself shiver, leaning into him.
“I, uh- we have to leave in half an hour…” She mumbles, tripping over her words, clearly flustered.
Swiss shrugs, looking down at her with a smirk on his face.
“I’m sure it won’t matter if we’re a little late…” He says, his voice low.
Y/N flushes a darker shade of red, her fingers rubbing the back of his neck. Before she knew it, Swiss’ lips were on her own. Kissing her softly at first; although that didn’t last long. Their tongues battled inside of their mouths and Swiss’ hands were roaming all over her body. He pulls away for just a second, looking at her.
“Do you want this, baby?” He asks, a twinkle of lust and desperation in his eyes. Y/N nods eagerly, pressing her lips back to his.
Swiss slowly guides them towards the bed as they kiss, laying Y/N down on the bed. He straddles her, looking down with a smirk.
“Now, as much as I love this dress on you, can I take it off of you?” He asks, his voice sickly sweet. She nods in response, moving her body as he removes it from her; leaving her in just her bra and underwear.
He moves up the bed slightly, bending his head down to kiss her lips. The multi-ghoul slowly moved down, kissing her jaw, then her neck. He gently nips at the skin on her neck, leaving a few marks on her. Y/N let’s out a tiny whimper, craving more of his touch.
Sitting up slightly, Swiss looked down at her, examining her body.
“Absolutely beautiful.” He said, tracing his fingers down her stomach. He bent down again, leaving a trail of soft kisses down her stomach; then he lifted her thighs up slightly and he placed a soft kiss to the fabric of her underwear, just over the right spot to make her whine.
Summary: You fall asleep in the library, waking up in a ghouls arms. You then end up in a ghoul pile.
A/N: This is quite short, I’m sorry! Hope you enjoy though!
Trying to keep my eyes open, I groan as I sit up in my chair, stretching my arms out. I’m so, so incredibly tired; but Sister Imperator is insisting that I get this task done before the end of the day. Looking around the library, I realise there’s no-one else here. Surely a little nap won’t hurt? I set an alarm on my phone for twenty minutes, and I rest my head on the desk, allowing my eyes to close.
~20 minutes later~
I feel my phone buzzing in my pocket. Confused, my eyes flicker open. Suddenly I realise I’m being carried. Looking up, I see a familiar, friendly face.
“Hey, sleepyhead.” Aether smiles at me, still walking whilst carrying me.
“Aeth? I- What?” I mumble, still sleepy and confused.
“You’re gonna come back to the ghoul den, okay? You’ve been working too much, and we miss you.” He said, like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
“But- Sister Imperator-” I start, looking around in slight confusion.
“Don’t worry about her. We’ll take care of it.” He smiles at me again, entering the common room. Putting me back on my feet, Aether shouts out to the others, alerting them of my presence.
Before I can do anything about it, I feel a strong pair of arms lift me up again, carrying me to the couch. I look up, being met with a toothy grin.
“Hi there, baby girl.” Swiss grins, sitting on the sofa and positioning me so my head is on his lap. Still sleepy, I look around, not really knowing what’s going on. I feel Swiss start to scratch my head gently with his claws, making me relax a bit.
“Mhm, that’s nice…” I mumble sleepily, letting my eyes close again.
I feel my legs be lifted up, then put back down. Opening my eyes again, I glance over to see Aether, who’s gently massaging my calves. Before I know it, Dew jumps on top of me, promptly snuggling his head into my neck, wrapping his arms around my waist, immediately purring.
“Oh, hey Dewy.” I chuckle sleepily. He responds by giving me a little squeeze and nuzzling into my neck.
Mountain walks in, ruffling my hair, as he sits down by Swiss’ legs, leaning against him. I smile at him, just accepting what I now knew was happening. A ghoul cuddle pile.
I hear excited chattering, I look up to see Cirrus and Cumulus walk in. They both grin at me and Cumulus settles down next to Swiss, leaning against him, and Cirrus plants herself on top of her. Then comes Rain and Phantom; they sit either side of Mountain, snuggling into him. Rain holds his hand up, clutching mine and giving it a little squeeze. I feel Dew raise his head slightly.
“Are you warm enough?” He asks, sounding tired himself.
“Yeah, but guys-” I start talking but am immediately interrupted by Dew snuggling his face back into my neck.
“Then sleep.” He mumbles simply.
I chuckle, finally giving into my tiredness. There’s no place I’d rather be than surrounded by my ghouls.
