I also wanted to ask you something, does Oddmund sometime heard Bellmont heartbeat? And if that happended, how he/his heart react to that sound? Since we know that Bellmont heard his heart a lot of times, and let's not talk about Famine with both of them. But what about Bellmont's heartbeat? I'm so curious!

I know you don't have time right now to do an animation, but maybe if you get better with your hand (and if you like the idea and have some free time, of course), it would be a great animation idea for the future, only as you like!!💗

I imagine the scene might be peaceful, with both of them lying very close to each other. Bellmont would be dozing, and Oddmund, out of curiosity, would bring his head close to Bellmont’s chest—and what he’d hear would leave him quite surprised.

Because he’s used to his own heartbeat—fast, chaotic, but ultimately quite strong. And he might have heard Famine’s heart (or hearts) before, since they love to brag about it from time to time.

And hearing Bellmont’s slow, very slow heartbeat was surprising—especially since it might even be irregular and have a rather audible murmur. I think he might feel both pity and admiration at the same time, knowing that, before they became immortal, that little heart had to go through so much to keep the opossum alive.

Today I tried applying pressure to my heart for the first time, and it was... Interesting.

I don't know if I'd try it again. I tried recording it, but nothing really happened other than tachycardia

But I ended up with pain in my sternum, I know that’s obvious! But that doesn’t change the fact that it’s uncomfortable, even if it only hurts when I touch it ;;;;;

Yes! All of them, but in their own way

Oddmund, of course, is the most embarrassed of the three. He always tries to hide how uncomfortable he is talking about his own heart, his health, and generally any related topic. But deep down, he’s fantasized about quite a few scenarios involving him, Bellmont, his heart, and maybe some needles. But he’d never admit it, at least not yet hehe~

Bellmont has learned to accept this a little better, and sometimes he talks openly about the subject with Famine. As I mentioned before, over time he lost his fear of his illness and his body, accepting that he was immortal and daring to try new things.

Famine, on the other hand, is quite open about the subject, and they love to tease Oddmund about it. Without warning, they might place a hand on the hunter’s chest, deliberately listen to his heartbeat, or tease him with the idea of Bellmont constantly monitoring his health.

(They know there’s something going on between those two ajshddhh)

So, there is this experiment going on right now, codenamed the BioVAT-HF-DZHK20 Trial

And I was thinking: since this experiment regards his heart failure [only] and the fact he's a doctor, what if he manages to get through the trial? That is, if his heart failure case is solved, his heartbeat will feel a bit too... normal. Bellmont's hypertrophic heart will be more pronounced and will become the skippy of the gang! I bet Famine will like it the most, haha

Just asking here because I've seen Bellmont's story. Especially for one who's completely innocent and genuinely scared unlike the others, despite myself being into dark cardiophilia, for the first time ever I genuinely feel bad for a character and want a fun change (╥﹏╥)

I looked into it, and it sounds pretty interesting!! Again, given the medieval setting, this specific experiment might not be possible, but we could come up with something similar, maybe something magical or along those lines 🐇💭

Anyway, thank you so much for the idea!! I love that you took the time to look into this and think about my characters. I know Bellmont is sometimes afraid of his own body, but that’s okay! He’s also quite curious, and over time he gets used to it, even trying to test his own limits Let’s not forget that he’s immortal, after all.

I was working on an animation for this, but I won't be able to finish it ;;;; (Maybe in the future)

My characters are supposed to live in a medieval style world, so... An echocardiogram would be impossible, but they could have their own ways of seeing their internal organs (I'm talking about magic, although some mutilation would be interesting too, they are important, after all lol)

If they could see it

Oddmund would try to look nonchalant at the image of his own heart. He won’t admit it, but it makes him uncomfortable to be aware of his own “mortality.”

Bellmont, for his part, would be interested in uncovering all its flaws and damage. His calling as a doctor and his curiosity override his discomfort
