It was a classified project developed in restricted laboratories during the later stages of the "Resource War." A first Deathclaw prototype was secretly deployed over Alaska in 2077 to monitor its effectiveness on the battlefield. The results of the experiment demonstrated a merciless massacre of the communist Red Army, who retreated from their positions in horror at the strange creature. After eleven years of war to invade Alaska, the communist Red Army's strategy ended with the annihilation of the invaders and the securing of the oil infrastructure.

Although victory was achieved, the social and political decay was reflected in the food shortages that ended abruptly with the "Atomic Ultimatum." The three great superpowers detonated their nuclear arsenals in every major city on planet Earth, igniting the final flames of the old world. Amidst the smoldering ruins of the great cities, the "Deathclaw" managed to evolve and adapt as alpha predators who, without the presence of humans, began to claim territories to nest dangerously close to the refugees of the great wasteland.

The "Deathclaw" are gregarious and live in packs under the control of an alpha male or female. Their intelligence is high, with some specimens even capable of mimicking the human voice. Their sexual dimorphism is evident in the frontal horns of the males, which are more undulating and have more slender vertebral spines compared to the horns of the females, which are smaller and grow in the opposite direction. The danger posed by Deathclaws is exacerbated by their uncontrolled reproduction; females are capable of spawning several offspring in a short period, and it is even common for Deathclaw pairs to resume their reproductive instinct with a new mate if one is widowed. In some cases, due to internal conflicts, Deathclaws may exhibit cannibalistic behavior towards their own kind.

In combat, Deathclaws are greatly feared and legendary for their association with ghosts or demons of the Wastes. Their scaly skin and muscles are so formidable that low-caliber weapons barely manage to wound them. Although slow in pursuit, if they catch their victims, they usually end up quickly disemboweling them. Their only weakness is bright lights and loud noises, which disorient them. It is recommended to run rather than confront them.

As a final note, the "Deathclaws" were apparently created for a more sinister and unknown purpose by the powers behind the aforementioned organization, the "Enclave," the true villains who seek to establish a new global power using the eugenicist military and scientific branch that survived the great war of the old world. ☢

The “Acid Grenadier” is a considerably large and well-armored type of arachnid capable of launching acid projectiles over long distances. The acid impact is so corrosive to Federation structures that “buzzer drones” were discovered inside some of the substances emitted by the grenadier, leaving the scientists of “Ghutana” perplexed by the new level of symbiosis of the mutated arachnids. 🦂💦

Love can blossom in the most unexpected and unlikely circumstances. The following tale could be described as an intense and unrestrained relationship, but the romantic bond between the two transcended time, becoming a legend of the Old World.

It all began in the gloomy land of Sylvania, a cursed land of shadowy hills and forests shrouded in perpetual mist. The inhabitants of this sinister place shun outsiders and survive by minding their own business, but when night falls on Sylvania, the noble peasants and their families avoid leaving their homes lest they become victims of the unholy horrors that prowl in the darkness. Following the strict orders of her father, Count Otto von Dark, a beautiful maiden named Isabella lived amidst the comfort and luxury of her lineage. During her youth, the rebellious Isabella shunned pursuits like sewing and music, activities that any well-bred lady should learn. Instead, she chose more rugged interests such as hunting and falconry, making her less attractive to suitors and less likely to form a marriage alliance that would benefit the lands of Sylvania.

Months passed at Drakenhof Castle, and Count Otto succumbed to a strange illness that slowly weakened him, along with the succession claims that threatened to divide his inheritance. Annoyed by the vultures seeking to usurp his power, Count Otto, on his deathbed, arranged for his only daughter, Isabella, to marry a sinister stranger who appeared as the only one willing to accept the union on a stormy night. (That night, the new Count Vlad von Carstein inherited all the lands of Sylvania after Otto's death.) Disgusted by the sudden change in her life, the arranged marriage of Isabella and Vlad remained cold and distant, but as the months passed, the passion and devotion of the two lovers awoke without reservation. Inseparable, Isabella and Vlad swore eternal love, even resorting to Isabella's desperate attempt to become a vampire. (Demonstrating strength, Count Vlad refrained from kissing and biting Isabella with his intense love.) Although those months were filled with intense feelings, Isabella and Vlad's relationship was tested when the young Isabella succumbed to a strange illness that threatened to separate them. Recognizing that he could not live without Isabella, a resolute Vlad bestowed upon her a "blood kiss" that reversed death and reunited them as two vampiric soulmates bound by a pact of love. From that day forward, Isabella became the confidante of Vlad von Carstein's deepest dreams and fears.

Bringing new reforms to his rule, the von Carstein couple ushered in an era of peace and prosperity for the human inhabitants of Sylvania. Thieves and vagrants who vanished into the cold nights became rare. Although feared for their strange nocturnal appearances, the peasants chose to ignore the counts' mysterious private feasts for 200 years. The only mistake Isabella and Vlad made was attempting to establish a new bloodline. Although they could not have children due to their vampiric curse, they tried to build a family of turned vampires that soon succumbed to savagery and extreme hedonism. In the final phase of their rule, the von Carstein vampire family was corrupted by greed and betrayal, inevitably leading to conflict between parents and children for control of Sylvania. During this dark period, the humans of the Empire decided to intervene in the fragmented government of Sylvania, directing their war effort toward assassinating the vampire patriarch, the fearsome Vlad von Carstein. Facing countless hordes of zombies and ghouls, the imperial army achieved the unthinkable by destroying the corporeal form of the vampire Vlad. His death had a devastating effect on his army, which collapsed upon losing its necromantic magic. This led to Isabella's suicide; she threw herself from the top of a tower to end her broken heart. 💔

The Geiger Bug's primary method of attack is to get close enough to explode and melt Federation humans with its radioactive wave. (High command recommends destroying them near hives to cause casualties among the arachnids themselves.) 💥☢

The "Rhinox" is an enormous, horned beast with a bad temper and poor eyesight that defends its territory with blind obstinacy. Herds of rhinoxen typically inhabit the vast, snow-covered mountain ranges, where their thick fur grants them stubborn resistance to the icy winds.

Due to its carefree nature, a solitary Rhinox can defend itself against the worst predators of the Old World and survive the most horrific wounds after disemboweling its attacker with its horns; Despite being classified as a deadly beast, rhinoxens are highly prized for their tasty meat and medicinal horns, which is the reason for their indiscriminate hunting by dwarves, ogres, and goblins who seek to provoke them into charging blindly and plunging off a cliff, then recovering their battered flesh after the fall. 🦏🏔️

Having obtained a powerful magical weapon like “Ghal Maraz,” the young Sigmar was driven by his purpose to unite the human tribes into a single empire. In the opinion of his closest human friends—Wolfgart, Pendrag, and Trinovantes—the prince's dream seemed an impossible delusion, but trusting in his heroism, they promised to accompany him in all his battles against the orcs and beastmen.

Inevitably, when the warrior god “Sigmar” came of age, he had his first opportunity to lead his tribe's army and decide the outcome of a battle, resulting in a bittersweet victory for the young prince, who was devastated by the death of his best friend “Trinovantes.” Trinovantes had decided to continue fighting the orcs in order to buy time for a cavalry charge led by “Sigmar” that overwhelmed the greenskins' defenses.

The legend of the warrior god Sigmar Heldenhammer began to take shape in his impulsive adolescence, but he accumulated daring feats that would remain etched in the memory of his followers. In the absence of a mother, young Sigmar grew up under the tutelage of the finest masters, but his training as a warrior was troubled, manifesting uncontrolled rage during training sessions that threatened the safety of his comrades. Concerned about his son's frenzied temper, King Björn sternly reprimanded Sigmar, showing him that he should abandon his anger and redirect his strength to help his people. (With remorse in his eyes, King Björn understood that his son Sigmar had realized his mistake.)

Some time later, near the young Sigmar's fifteenth birthday, his destiny would reveal itself with a unique gift. During a journey the dwarves were making through the forests toward the Grey Mountains, they had the misfortune of being ambushed by greenskins while resting. Led by the infamous orc Vagraz, several dwarves were killed, and the rest were captured to be sacrificed at a great feast.

Among the captured dwarves was a badly wounded Kurgan Ironbeard. The king and his royal court had lost all hope of surviving the orcs' captivity, but unexpectedly, they heard the savage cries and shrieks of humans who had arrived to their rescue. In the midst of the skirmish between humans and orcs, a young Sigmar stood out, armed with a bronze sword, cutting down countless greenskins until he encountered the infamous Vagraz. The confrontation between Sigmar and Vagraz was a display of brutal strength and skill that favored the terrible black orc over a young Sigmar with a weapon ineffective against the reinforced armor.

Predicting that the brave young man would not last long against the black orc, a determined Kurgan slipped into the fray until he found the tent where the orcs were hiding their stolen treasures. Acting swiftly and without distraction, the dwarf king sought out his ancient family heirloom and, returning without delay, hurled the hammer "Ghal Maraz" to the valiant Sigmar with a shout. Resolutely grasping his new weapon, the magical hammer manifested itself, responding to Sigmar's will and imbuing his strength with a new, ancient power that crushed the skull of the fearsome orc "Vagraz" with a single, lightning-fast blow.

Millennia before Sigmar and his unified human empire, there existed another champion of the light who saved the Old World (Mallus) from a great chaotic catastrophe. His name was known to all the High Elves as “Aenarion the Defender,” the first Phoenix King of “Ulthuan” (the ten elven realms).

For a time, the Phoenix King “Aenarion” and his allies managed to expel the daemons from their domains, but the ominous signs of a world convulsed by chaotic magic began to seep through the poles of the Old World. (From other continents, the lizardmen continued to fight relentlessly amidst the flames of war.)

Having achieved a fragile peace, the elves attempted to maintain their routine of guarding the borders despite the great uncertainty posed by the daemons that continued to arrive from the polar portals. Seeking to ensure the continuation of his royal legacy, the young King Aenarion took a brief but intense time to court his wife, Astarielle, the future eternal queen.

Little is known of Aenarion and Astarielle's whirlwind and private courtship during the war against Chaos, but it is hinted that while they were together they were utterly happy, bringing into the world two beautiful elven twins named Yvraine (a girl) and Morelion (a boy).

The “Stinger Bug” is a small arachnid that has adapted with great versatility to the volcanic planet of “Gehenna.” Its primary method of attack is to expel incandescent stingers. Although its individual threat is weak, it can usually be found in groups that will emerge to the surface with furious determination to defend their stubborn nests. (The Federation had to intervene against the volcanic bugs to secure the fuel refineries on Gehenna.) 🌋

The “DR-4 Viking” are landing craft used by the Terran Federation fleets during the first conflict against the Arachnids. Designed for the mass deployment of mobile infantry troops, the “Viking” is a robust and resilient craft, capable of atmospheric descent in the most turbulent conditions. It is powered by twin VTOL engines for maneuvering and landing in any designated position; Viking pilots will fulfill their purpose without hesitation for the Federation.

In addition to its transport role, the “DR-4 Viking” features an autopilot system for operational emergencies (pilot deaths), including four twin cannons to provide covering fire to clear a landing zone.

Finally, the "Viking" ship, which landed, has the capacity to transport 42 mobile infantry soldiers divided into two compartments, along with the squad leader, who will make decisions on the ground. Another additional, but no less important, function is to supply new heavy weapons or reinforcements to areas infested by giant arachnids.

The “M7 Razorback” is a bipedal vehicle that can carry a human crew member inside, acting as a maneuverable mech. The “Razorback” allowed mobile infantry to reinforce their position on steep hills to face the arachnid threat. Equipped with a machine gun and a chainsaw built into its mechanized arms, the M7 Razorback became the first biped authorized to descend and execute the Federation initiative during the events of the first war against the giant arachnids of Planet P. (Although the initial deployment resulted in a massacre with disruption to general communications, a change in objectives contributed to the Federation's victory over the sector.)

The “Buzzer drone” is a small variant of arachnid bred for speed and the chaos it can find by sneaking through enemy defenses. When the Buzzer is close to its victim, it unfurls its wings for a devastating attack. 🐝

The appearance of the “Buzzer drone” is recorded on the planet “Ghutana,” where Terran Federation scientists are conducting scientific experiments on a controlled population of arachnids. Unexpectedly, security protocols were breached, and the facility ended up overrun by mutant arachnids adapted to different toxic biomes.

To the scientists' astonishment, the federation considered the immediate deployment of elite troops alongside engineers to contain the emergency.

In short, "ogres" are possibly a subrace of trolls who inhabit an unknown region of "Arda" (Middle-earth in Elvish). The only direct mention of ogres occurs when the hobbit Bilbo tries to solve Gollum's riddle about "ruins kingdoms" and "beats tall mountains down."

After recalling giants and ogres from old tales, he manages to solve the riddle by telling Gollum the answer: "time." Although Tolkien only mentioned many creatures once, or perhaps due to oversight, ogres were adapted as "half-trolls" serving in the army of Gundabad, where they took up positions as shock troops and commanders of the cataculp trolls during the Battle of the Five Armies.

When the 20 Primarch infants were scattered across the galaxy as a consequence of Erda's disillusionment with her father's plans, the Emperor himself severed his emotional bond with her, sending her into exile alongside Leetu, who swore to accompany and protect her from the Emperor.

Later, during the Horus Heresy on Holy Terra, the noble Leetu accepted his mother's final order to leave exile with her and embark on a new, high-priority mission: to escort the perpetual John Gramaticus and search for the saint Ollanius Persson amidst the conflict. Consulting the tarot and the stars, the mystic Erda discovered, to her surprise, that humanity's future was threatened by absolute chaos. Taking a different path, "Leetu" accompanied the Argonauts on their perilous journey, where they evaded countless dangers as traitorous legions and daemons advanced toward the imperial palace. Ollanius and Leetu's ultimate goal was to gain an audience with the Emperor.

Marked by wounds and exhausted from the battlefield, the determined Ollanius and Leetu reached the golden throne in the presence of the "Emperor," whose judgment was clouded and who was about to become the "Dark King," a psychic entity that would bring about the destruction of all humans, guilty and innocent alike. Appealing to the noble purpose of their mission, Ollanius and Leetu managed to convince the Emperor to end the war as a mere human, without resorting to the warp power he had begun to accumulate. Recognizing a twist of fate, reuniting with an old friend and Erda's son allowed the Emperor to reflect on his power and renounce his corruption. (A gigantic black sphere of power dissolves, and light returns to the ruler of Terra.) ✨

In short, the "Drowned" are a type of zombie that emerges with the changing tides. Countless bad omens are associated with the appearance of the "Drowned" on the shores and their tolling bells that announce their cursed incursion. The origin of the "Drowned" is attributed to shipwrecks and crews lost in a dense fog, now returning as bloated and abominable bodies guided by a strange will known as "the Lady" (possibly a terrible sea witch controlling them).

Among the most notable appearances of the "Drowned" is their invasion of the Skovos Islands, home to the warrior women known as the Amazons. Fortunately, a mysterious foreigner joined the warrior women's desperate struggle to keep their island free of zombies and sea monsters.

In short, the "Rat King" is categorized as an animal species infected by demonic influence. By consuming the carrion of infernal corpses, the harmless rats begin a mutation process due to their insatiable appetite for new human victims. 🐭 Dwelling among ruins and shadowy sewers, rat nests spread uncontrollably under the protection of a colossal male, the "Rat King," who incubates the embryos of his new plague on his back, which he then spreads as they emerge from his various protuberances. (In addition to his colossal strength, the Rat King can use his poisonous saliva as an intimidating weapon.) 🐀
