Taako and Lup concept art
ID: Several drawings of Taako and Lup as children. They are elves with brown skin, dark brown hair, and freckles. 1: They sit leaning against each other, wearing large pointed hats. The twin on the left smiles, glances up, and rests a hand on their knee. The twin on the right glances to the side, ears down. 2: They face each other, hands clasped, posed as though swinging around. 3: They're slightly older. They face away from each other, leaning against each others' backs, arms crossed. The twin on the left smiles and glances to one side; the other grins. 4: Taako and Lup as adults, blond, wearing red robes. Their poses mirror each other with one finger pressed to their mouth, the other holding their elbow. Their legs are each crossed. End ID.
Thank you so much for the ID! I can't believe I missed ID for this one. I've added the text here to the embedded ID of the post to hopefully make it even more accessible.
Just to clarify as well because I realise it's not super clear what with them being identical—Taako is the twin on the left for all of these except for the top left drawing.

Our girlfriend looks so pretty from outer space
He has such a fun looney tunes-esque character design... you know when something hits him he goes BYOING YOING YOING like a spring
do you have an art process? i really admire your coloring style and the dreamy/soft look most of your pieces have, and I’d love to learn how to draw like that. i’m a trad artist and still learning how to work digitally! thank you so much for sharing these masterpieces, it’s like a whole little world in each and every one :)
thank you! admittedly i am all over the place when creating art and most of it is kinda just trial and error before thinking “OK, i am pleased with this”, but luckily I had documented a lot of my process for the krusie bathroom illustration. i am also not the best at explaining things either, but I will try to the best of my ability. here is my process compiled
it is important to note that while i think having some sort of structure to realize an idea can help if you’re stuck and/or make it feel less overwhelming, it is just as easy to psyche yourself out if you try perfect each step. you can always go rework a step if you separated them into layers. remember, art is supposed to be fun, so go with the flow!
as for pieces that are more painterly, my process is about the same except i don’t make linears and instead work directly over my sketch like this. if I make errors, i just paint over it.
that’s mostly it! happy drawing!

I wrote a tutorial on how to set up a deviantArt-like art gallery on a neocities (or other static site) come check it out:
It was a lot of work to put my art gallery together and get it working, but because I didn't see literally anything on creating such a gallery (other than ready-made templates) I decided to write up a tutorial hoping it will help others who want to code a more robust art gallery that goes beyond just using a simple slideshow/lightbox. Each image is its own post, like how deviantArt works.
This is a draft of the page where I copied my existing posts just to fill up the gallery and see how it fits:
and this is what my individual post looks like:
in 2026 DO NOT ask yourself whether your art is GOOD
instead ask:
is it SINCERE
was it CATHARTIC
was it FUN TO MAKE
is it MADE BY ME
and don't forget to stay silly

I may have done a similar poll before but
for digital artists, what do you primarily draw on
pen tablet (you are not drawing directly on a screen)
screen tablet (you draw directly on the screen. this includes ipads and phones)
I used to use a pen tablet but now I use a screen tablet
I used to use a screen tablet but now I use a pen tablet
I use both pen & screen tablets equally
I draw with a mouse/trackpad
see results
I feel like there’s been a BIG shift in usage of pen tablets to screen tablets in the past 5 years. Pen tablets were the norm for both beginning and professional artists for a very very long time, but now it seems like if you’ve started drawing digitally within the past 5-8 years you’re way more likely to have a screen tablet.
