funnily enough I actually have the original notes for this in my fanfic notebook lmao

Essentially the original idea was 'Meta is reaching the same amount of power that Galacta has and everyone notices, gets scared, and preemptively summons nova to seal him away. Meta gets so pissed about it that he breaks the crystal himself and beats the shit out of Nova before fucking off to popstar' Hooowwwever, I feel like thats. not quite a good reasoning?? Like Galacta couldn't break that crystal prison so Meta definitely shouldn't be able to. unless he gains super strength or something by getting really pissed off. the only real option I could think of to excuse this is that Meta has Galaxia, an sacred sword from ancient times, meanwhile Galacta's lance and shield are just normal weapons (made of Stellarium, but still not ancient relics with bullshit powers)

So instead, I've come up with a couple different options! (more like one but bear with me)

Same thing happens, but instead of breaking free immediatly someone goes and summons Nova for a fight and he gets brought out. then he beats the shit out of whoever summoned him (and Nova) before Fucking off to popstar

Galacta and Meta switch places somewhat, and Galacta summons Nova/Meta, only for Meta to pull what Gala did with Star Dream, but with Nova instead. Issues : - This would fuck up my Lore exponentially, Namely due to Meta being Gala, Morpho, and Arthur's kid -So theres two options that could fix this Option One : Another Dimension Bullshit happens and snagged the Bab Meta with Galaxia backwards in time sorta like Susie being yoinked Option 2, which I think is funnier : Meta is still Morpho's kid, but more a clone that the ancients made without Morph's knowledge. Galacta accidentally starts dad-ing this ancient warrior (along with Arthur, who's tired of his husband's bs) and the two end up meeting Morph and one point and going "ok we're taking both parent and kid then ig". this would put Galacta as the commander of the Halberd and the Meta-knights, which would also be kinda funny. "I can't spar with my crew anymore because I've gotten too strong from sparing with this ancient warrior so that he doesn't get bored" "GDI the ancient warrior charmed my crew. I feel like their his crew now."
