Dreamswap thoughts/the worst ending
well, i know this won't get noticed, but I’m just writing this because I’m bored. So, first I’ll be writing about my thoughts on Dreamswap’s worst ending.
So simply, everyone (expect Dream) dies. I think there's a little more in, because there's so much left to question. Like where is Kevin? I know that Kai might have already answered that question about the worst ending, but i haven't followed the facts that much and I’m going off by what I know. So, don't get angry at me when i have questions that are already answered by Kai.
So more on, how would Dream react to him being wrong AFTER Nightmares death?
He could actually start caring, but too late. The realization might as well could as well ‘break’ him, because his assumptions on how their place in the world works would be VERY wrong. But also, as Kai did say, that Dream no longer cares for Nightmare, so he caring for him in the ‘positive Nightmare’ ending might as well come from actually trying what Ani suggested. Who knows tho? But, back on topic.
What would Dream tell the JR and the rest about him being wrong?
Well, i strongly suspect, that lying would not be a good option, so he would most likely announce, that with ‘further investigation’ he has found out, that Nightmare wasn’t source of all negativity and suffering after all. There would be some confused looks from the audience, but after further explanation from Dream, that black apples were the source of negativity and Nightmare was just an unlucky guardian of it.
But would Dream actually care if he was wrong after killing Nightmare? He does hate his nonexistant guts, right?
so, this question is more complicated to answer. Kai did say that Dream has no longer care for anything that happens to Nightmare and that he is an obstacle in the way of his goal. I know this is close to answering the earlier question almost the same way, but i want to explore all answers i can give even in same sounding questions. I think there’s two ways on how Dream would react to Nightmare’s death, regret and confusion.
What would happen to the world after the last black apple is destroyed?
well, its really different in many ways, sometimes it can be immadiet destruction of the multiverse, one comic depicts also a path that after Dream kills Nightmare, the world crumbles and Dream actually looses everything and gets turned into stone, but not only that, but Nightmare is brought back to life to be the sol guardian of the new and improved tree of feeling. Theres so many possabilities actually on that happening, but im sure, that Kevin, the chiken that has the last apple, should be safe.
In my opininon, the worst ending is not the most interesting one, because its so staright forward, but it still gives plotholes in itself that it sparks interest in one part of the undertale AU community
