When Lan was talking about Nynaeve it was interesting in 1x05 to see two people who know him the best know whats up and him open up. Moraine and his warder bestie Stepin both know theres something there.

With Moraine, through the bond she can feel it so she doesnt touch his feeling (also she doesnt seem the type too).

Lan lets out a little frustration when Moraine wonders how Nynaeve is “Think she talks to me?” - Lan

he lets out some truth, because when he talks to his bestie who brings up Lan dying made Nynaeve touch the one power

“And barely spoken to me since.” - Lan

Both times, its clear as a man who doesnt talk about his shit, for Lan to say this much it speaks loudly. it got under his skin, so much so that him mentioning to the two closest is him basically screaming WHY WONT WIFEY TALK TO ME.

She’s stubborn. Knows her own mind. Knows she’s falling for you.
