So basically what happened was, extremely popular esports player sonicfox (who happens to be a black gay man) posted a video on his twitter of mortal combat gameplay, where he performed a fatality on a female fighter (whose voice actress has been accused of transphobia I believe, I didn’t look into it) with the caption “this is what I do to terfs.” (Something like that. It’s not up anymore) He then get into twitter beef with some old ass white terf on Twitter, and the video was taken down and he was given 12 hours suspension. But, the terf, Joanna cherry, had received some (rightfully deserved) “shut the fuck up terf” memes. This issue got brought before British parliament where she is now trying to get TERF to be considered a slur against women in the same vein as b*tch and c*nt. She has been using the same scummy terf tactics such as trying to act as if terfs represent all women, and that the word terf is a slur that targets women specifically, ignoring the fact that terf is an acronym that describes a vein of radfems, and that men can indeed be terfs as well. And that the memes she recieved were “abuse” as if terfs aren’t perpetuating targeted abuse at trans people and that getting a picture of an an anime girl holding a gun or seeing a video of a video game fatality is in any way equivalent to the harm terfs to to trans people.
