(Neji died saving Hinata who was going to save naruto so this is literally Hinata’s way of being like “dont let neji’s death be for nothing. he died protecting me bc im infatuated with you i love you so it’s only right to love me back and make his death worth it.” and I think thats so fcked up) 

You know, how girls are treated in this series. They’re not as smart as the men, they’re not as strong as the men, they’re too sensitive, they’re too bitchy, their boobs aren’t big enough, their boobs are too big, they cry too much, they don’t cry enough, they’re too slutty, they’re too boring, the only girls that get attention are those whose lives revolve around men, I could go on and on about the complaints people have.

But I’m going to talk about one girl specifically, Hinata.

I don’t like her character, and for reasons not a lot of people talk about. And no, it’s not because I don’t ship NaruHina. We all know she’s the most popular Naruto girl. And yes, she is kind, shy, some fans say she is beautiful [though no one in the series or databooks actually says it], some say she is strong [though she’s never won a fight that wasn’t added in or expanded by Studio Pierrot] and she’s very agreeable. So why don’t I like her?

Because she fits the bill of the sexist man’s perfect woman. Here’s a clip from American Psycho, directed by Mary Harron, for reference

Really this entire clip can be applied not just to the entire Naruto series, but the Anime and Manga business as a whole. But for my point, I’m going to point out one quote specifically,

“A good personality consists of a chick with a little hard body who will satisfy all sexual demands without being too slutty about things, and will essentially keep her dumb fucking mouth shut.”

And look at the youtube comments below if you think men don’t think like this.

For those of you thinking, “No, she’s a good person!” She’s not a person, she’s a fictional character created by a man who paired her with another character based off of himself. If you don’t agree that she fits the bill…

…We’ve got Hinata with the huge rack that has been pointed out more than once in the series [chick with a little hard body]. Her entire character revolves around wanting to be with Naruto and wanting to do what he wants to do [who will satisfy all sexual demands], but of course she’s not going to just throw herself at him because oh gosh that would be inappropriate [without being too slutty about things], and she’s oh so shy so she won’t speak her mind whenever Naruto’s being dumb or unreasonable [and will essentially keep her dumb fucking mouth shut].

Yes, she does fit the bill.

Kishimoto is not kind to women in fiction, never has been. Even to Hinata, everyone’s favorite “Byakugan Princess” [because being the oldest girl in a family makes you a princess apparently]. Even since the beginning, with Sakura, Kishimoto created her to act like a “real girl” and not just what men want women to be like. You know what else he claimed he first made Sakura to be? Unlikable.

I was just semi-complaining that I was still looking for a decent way to backup my +6k posts without having to use paid services or even just wordpress (which has an import from tumblr tool that asks for permission to access your blog and also make posts), when I decided to actually put some effort into my google search. 

Results were positive: I have successfully backed up my blog* 

*By which I mean: everything that I have ever posted.  Not included: drafts, queue, likes, followers, following, comments, notes, chat. 

I followed this method (word by word), and now have a 450 MB folder on my computer with the name of my blog on it containing: 

1. Folder “Archive” (contains .html files listed by month) 2. Folder “Media” (contains gifs and images, mine has +1k files in it; might contain also audios but I have no way of confirming that because I’ve never reblogged an audio post from this blog) 3. Folder “Posts” (contains single .html files, each one a post; I have +4k files in it) 4. Folder “Theme” (contains only my avatar, but it might be a matter of if you have personalized themes or not) 5. .html file “Index” (by opening it it will give you the archive of your blog organized by month; clicking on a month will open up the archive for that month, and you’ll be able to read all the posts for that month as if you were on your blog**, except sans your theme graphic, with each page containing 50 posts)

**I can see gifs, links, embedded videos, tags, number of notes (but I can’t open up the notes, clearly), text is also correctly formatted. 

So yeah, in case anyone wants a very quick way to back up their blog, it took me less than 10 minutes.

“Understood Hawkmoth!” Black and purple smoke covered the newest victim, taking a very average looking man and turning him into a fashion nightmare. Paisley and plaid, polka dots and stripes, patterns that clashed and complementary color combinations that made the eyes burn. A staff formed in his other hand, green on one end and red on the other.

“All shall fall prey to heartbreak!”

The plan for the 17th, when the adult content ban comes in, is to protest.

To do that, we are making as much noise either side of the 17th as possible, and using the site as normal.

On the 17th, dead silence.

People are saying log off but what they really mean is don’t open the site or the app.

But, on the 17th make as much noise as possible on every other platform. Tweet about it and post on facebook and instagram and everywhere else.

What this does is causes a massive dip in ad revenue for one single day. That does not make staff think ‘oh everyone’s gone let’s shut down.’ What it actually makes them think is ‘oh shit people aren’t happy and if people don’t keep using our site we’re out of money and out of jobs.’

A boycott reminds a company that the users (consumers) have the power to make their site (business) worthless with one single coordinated decision.

If you want to join in, here’s what to do:

Do:

Close all open instances of the app and site on all your devices before the 17th

Make posts before and after the 17th on tumblr and other platforms, talking about why this ban is bad

Make posts on other sites during the 17th. Flood the official tumblr staff twitter and facebook with your anger and your opinion

Come back on the 18th and check in

Don’t:

Delete the app from your phone (this doesn’t affect their revenue and since it’s off the store at the moment it’ll be hard to get back)

Delete your account. I mean you can if you want to, but if you keep your account and don’t use it you’re saying to staff that there’s still time to save it. If you delete it’s hard work to come back.

Open the app or website (including specific blogs)

Make any posts (turn down/off your queue and make sure nothing is scheduled)

Go quiet elsewhere. Make it clear that this is just about tumblr, not a mass move away from all social media.

Remember: the execs don’t care about anything but money. Shutting down the site means there’s $0 further income from it. That’s their last possible course of action. If we make it clear we’re not happy, they’ll have to do something or we can do more and more until it becomes too expensive.

he does not understand why midoriya responds to all of his attempts to goad him into some kind of competition with optimism and enthusiasm, so he ups his hostility, which midoriya responds to with MORE optimism and enthusiasm and its just this dumb cycle where they are both trying to establish some kind of rivalry but they are so not on the same page theyre in different fucking books

midoriya learned to cope with years of bullying and ostracism by being timid and as non-threatening as possible, but now that hes around people who actually support him and is, yknow, growing the fuck up that has changed into him always putting out a positive attitude and uses helping others as motivation. he views a rivalry as something to help both parties get better.

bakugou was raised on violence and has a combination of a superiority complex and debilitating self doubt. he wants a rivalry because he NEEDS to be better than other people. so to him this shit doesn’t add up.
