I’ve gotten a trickle of new followers lately, so thought I better introduce myself! I’m [name redacted because I thought better of it], 29, she/they, from Australia 🏳️‍🌈🦘 

I’ve had this blog since 2013 (I think?) and used to exclusively post about Homes.tuck (hence my URL). You can probably find my HS fics if you go digging, but I like to think my writing has come a long way since then. I love to write fanfics and am trying to get back into posting my writing after falling out of the habit for years.

I love handkerchiefs and can come up with a plausible reason for pretty much any character to use one (the reason is because I think it’s hot)

I’m also very into emotional hurt/comfort and crying

I’m never gonna finish this, but please enjoy an excerpt from the first Weeke.nd at Ber.nie’s fic I ever wrote. These dorks are so endearing it’s got me acting unwise and pretending I know how laundromats work.

When we talk about “contagion” as a trope/element of this fetish, are we talking about:

A) any situation where one character catches an illness from another, eg B catches A’s cold as a natural consequence of hanging around a sick person and looking after them, OR

B) someone intentionally getting another person sick?

Yes, I’m still thinking about those two guys from Week.end at Ber.nie’s, dealing with different stages of the same cold. Plus I always wanted to write something involving those magazine perfume samples, which I believe are an untapped goldmine of snz potential.

is his character a good person? no. do i think it would be good character development if he got humbled by a terrible headcold? hell yeah babey.

A and B go to the movies. The movie ends up being surprisingly emotional and A is rendered a soggy, sniveling mess. There’s still a lot of movie left and A is so teary and drippy that it’s becoming a problem.

Neither A nor B thought to bring tissues, and A can’t even use their sleeve because they’re just in a tshirt/tank top/ something else with small or no sleeves.

B takes one for the team and quietly offers their own sleeve. They have an exchange like:

A: (whispering) what? No, ew, I can’t do that.

B: (also whispering, exasperated) do you have a better idea??

So in the end A hangs onto B’s wrist and uses the sleeve to blot at their eyes and nose. You’d think maybe this would make them cry less, but like I said, there’s still a lot of movie left.

Bonus points if:

A is uncharacteristically weepy because they’re coming down with something

A is not normally the crier in this duo so they’re both surprised

They go get some emotional support dinner/dessert afterwards and A goes through a bunch of flimsy diner napkins tending to their post-cry stuffy nose

B sort of teases A afterwards but it’s clear they love them and aren’t mad that their sleeve got soaked with another person’s tears (and snot)

First sneeze doesn’t happen for a little while but then he spends the next 30 minutes or so sneezing intermittently lol
