My first of two submissions for @jthmzine !!! I’m so happy to be a part of this project!

JTHM means so much to me, I literally have the logo tattooed on me, it was the comic that made me realize I wanted to write comics. I feel so honored to get to be a part of this celebration of my favorite comic.

feel free to use where ever. there's a "regular" version with lowercase letters and more readable. then there's the more "canon" comic version that's all CAPs. with its actual caps resembling when johnny gets very angry. both include Spanish letters as well. =]

One of the things I love most about Emu’s work is their strong, sharp linework and the hard, metallic edge they bring to every piece.

From Johnny’s expression and posture to the unsettling creatures twisting through the background, every detail is packed with personality and atmosphere. The more I look at it, the more new details I discover.

We want to give a heart-felt THANK YOUUU to all those that have submitted their work so far, finished and in-progress! It has been exceedingly exciting seeing the many different art styles together as they come in 💕💖

Today we are posting some information for participants interested in joining the group sticker sheet! If you have never designed a sticker, these may be helpful tips for you ;]

We ask that your design size be at least 500x500px. The stickers themselves will be anywhere from 2x2in to 1x1in, depending on how many people join.

Detailed designs are perfectly fine, but be cautious of using many small lines, as they can become blurry during resizing. The mod will do their best to keep everything as crispy as possible!

All stickers will have a white outline, so account for this in your design. The mod will add this when making the sticker sheet, so you do not need to include it in your submission 💖

If you are familiar with vectors, a vector file is greatly appreciated! If not, please don’t hurt your brain trying to learn vectors on short notice 🙏 A transparent or even white background image works just as well!

Please save your file as a .PNG, to avoid any JPEG artifacts/blur on your design.

Like zine entries, sticker designs are due by August 31st.

Here is a quick example of sizing/design issues:

Thin lines can almost disappear when resized, and when they're close together, they can blur and become effectively grey when printed. NOW! That isn't to say you cannot use thin lines in your design, just be mindful of how it may translate into tiny sticker form.

Narrow parts of a sticker can easily rip coming off the sheet! 💔 This can be avoided by either adding a thicker outline or keeping poses tight.

And that is all! There is no particular theme for the stickers outside of JTHM characters/objects. Multiple characters are fine if you can fit them in together nicely <3 As always, if you have any questions, feel free to message here or email us at [email protected]
