Oregon Barn

I’m so happy to have seen this photo of this barn by chance! It used to be right off of I-5 Southbound by Bullwinkles and had a huge impact on my imagination. I immediately recognized it when I saw the original picture, and that original picture captures it so close to how I had it in my memory. Sadly it got torn down a couple years ago, so what a delight to get this picture of it! Sometimes I get asked where my ideas come from, and sometimes it just starts with places like these.

‘Aya and the Witch’: (2020) Studio Ghibli Debuts Images From Its First Ever Fully CG Animated Feature. The film will air on Japanese tv channel NHK later this year and is directed by Goro Miyazaki (From up on Poppy hill and Tales from Earthsea) son of Hayao Miyazaki who is overseeing the project.
