And Loop dealing with the capital T Trauma at the start aughgh I want to pull them apart. AND THE FACT THE MOMENT THEY'RE COGNISANT AGAIN THEY LOOP???? AUGHUGH-
Loop knowing IMMEDIATELY that Stardust is lying?? I can't even tell if that's A. Loop can already read them that well or B. Stardust is way more emotive than they think so schooling their expression into something neutral is a dead give away but EITHER WAY that shit went baaaaad.
"The loops could easily be liked to torture" it's called a torment nexus for a reason Stardust.

Hello, I love people who ramble about my stuff, I love comments and asks, my two favs combined into one.
*Shows off a Sif* this short thang can fit so much trauma in it. And of course they go to loop the second theyāre the slightest bit aware. Theyāve messed everything up! Everyone is worried and they canāt hide, so off to kill themself!
Stardust loooooves to unconsciously play down the pain of the loops, so itās ālikened to tortureā instead of what it actually isā¦ which is just straight up torture.
If Loop could legally and ethically keep Stardust chained to them, they probably would.
Dunnno, itās kinda workingā¦? But also Starfrin isnāt a therapist and is going about things completely wrong because theyāre ridiculous. The only reason things are going asā¦ moderately well as they are is because Loop is him, so he kind of knows what they need.
Shouldāve included this in the end notes but I forgor: just like how chapter 4ās ending wasnāt planned to be like that, the anxiĆ©tĆ© scene just sort of happened when it wasnāt supposed to originally. Now itās kind of important. Not super, but kind of (hint: donāt leave me). Iām glad so many people like it! I was unsure of how well I sold the gore there, Iām not BTG, crowned royals for writing horrible, bloody, terrible death.
Flower wasnāt going to happen! (A lot of scenes, now that I think about it, werenāt going to happenā¦) Someone sent in an ask about the flower and so Iāve wrote it in. Itāll probably show up again later. Stardust is very important to Loop. Also challenge: can this Siffrin recognize theyāre appreciated, wanted, and loved? The answer might surprise you: ā¦no, no they canāt.
[This isnāt Call sign dialogue]! Itās that other thing Loop does in game where they beam information directly into Siffrinās brain. It hurts a bit at the beginning but they seem to get used to it. I originally (also shouldāve put this in end notes) had names for all the abilities that Loop has in game that are never brought up directly and thus are never named. Watching Loop was going to be called āVisionā and speaking into Loopās head was going to be called āSpeechā. I removed it because I thought it would be better to stick closer to canon by not naming them.
