Panfandom Hanukkah Bingo 2025

The basic rules –

All fics must be at least 100 words long and focus on a Jewish or Jew-ish character celebrating Hanukkah (or the scifi/fantasy equivalent of Hanukkah) or participating actively in some way with Judaism.

All graphics and moodboards must be at least 3x3 (9 images or more in total included on the work) OR for traditionally drawn art, include at least one Jewish or Jew-ish character celebrating Hanukkah or participating actively in some way with Judaism.

From December 14 - JDecember 22, post your work to the AO3 collection “hanukkahbingo” and/or post on Tumblr tagging @hanukkahbingo and #hanukkahbingo to be included in the nightly masterpost!

Since this Bingo grid is larger than the usual bingo card, you do not need to complete a full row or column to get a Bingo – any five fills = a bingo. If you DO fill out the complete card, that’s a Full Menorah (instead of a Blackout, because festival of lights… yuk yuk yuk).

You can fill as many squares as applicable in your work (so if your characters have an applesauce versus sour cream versus ketchup latke debate, that’s 5 squares and a full bingo!), but each square must be at least 100 words or 3 images, so you cannot write one 100-word fic and claim that it fills 5 squares, etc. The above example of the applesauce versus sour cream versus ketchup latke debate fic would need to be at least 500 words.

The Snolidays are back!!

The holiday season is upon us and we’re inviting everyone to partake in the Snolidays 2023 Fest! A perfect chance to revel in headcanons, have Severus demonstrate your favourite traditions, and share the holiday spirit with all of us! Winter holidays of all religions and nations are welcome and encouraged!

How it works:

Art, writing, headcanons, meta – we’d love to share all of your creations with the rest of the fandom.

In order to help spark the inspiration, we’ve chosen a theme for each of the four weeks leading up to Christmas: ‘Frost’, ‘Lights, ‘Preparations’, and ‘Festivities’.

We’ve also included 7 prompts for each week. You can combine several of them in one piece, skip the ones that don’t inspire you, or even create multiple works for a single prompt!

Don’t worry about tackling the themes in order, or about being late. In fact, if you have older winter-related works you’d like to show the Snapedom again, go ahead and send them in!

Either submit the post to our blog, or tag your own post using #snolidays2023 and #snapecelebration.
