The Northern Lights

I’m a fan of unexplainable things here on earth period. I love reading stuff since I was a kid and I was 8 or 9 years of age when I first saw a photo of Aurora Borealis. Since then I was wondering what it would look like for real. Don’t get me wrong I didn’t obsessed over it, I’m just curious of what it would look like in my bare eyes. I was wondering how it majestically and colorfully lit up the plain sky at night. It must've been a good sight.

The temperature in Dubai is starting to fall, recently it was 17 degree Celsius and ohhh It was so cold you’ll have goosebumps, and by the way for the first time since I came here in this place, it rained. The rain was just so calm but still washes out the sand on my way home last night, it was so short but satisfying to watch.

Yes it’s sure is winter here in this place, and because I don't have time to go out or spend the day with my husband for a date out, we just get cozy on our little room on our lil’ couch watching movies, last night’s movie was Saving Private Ryan the other day we go for Troy, and now since I have time to chill before my change of visa tomorrow we decided to have a movie marathon, he’s just a fan of Greek myth movie and action film that we ended up watching Clash of Titans and Attack of Titans. Yes we both enjoy watching action and war movies, I just love the adrenaline it gives.

Hello December! I have another set of Journal prompts for this month and as usual, just like my November Journal I got this one from Pinterest. I wrote this last December 2 but failed to post it because i suddenly fall asleep, and because it’s my rest day today, I decided to post it today.  Also, I would like to give credits for the one who made this monthly prompts as it was shown on the photo Ms. Elizabeth Mcnair, thank you so much for sharing these prompts it helps a lot in creating content with my blog.

Favorite Part of the Day

I work 6 days a week for 9 hours, one and half hour travel back and forth so basically I spent more or less 12 hours away from our home. So by now you might know what is my favorite part of the day, IT'S GOING HOME LATE and spending the rest of the time I have left for that day with my husband. As an OFW (overseas filipino worker) as they say, life abroad really is hard, I could testify on that fact by now, there is more than just a simple word as hard, I couldn’t explain I could give you a lot of synonyms of hard and difficult but you wouldn’t understand unless you became one, especially if you are away from your loved ones. Lucky me, I have my husband here with me. So it’s not that hard.

It’s my favorite part of the day because I can see how understanding and thoughtful my husband is. I don't know about other couples but in my case, I appreciate that he still have time to cook me dinner, by the way he also goes to work everyday, and just like any other filipinos here in dubai he also works hard for a living, I know that It’s just a simple gesture from him but I really do appreciate it. And I love him even more because of that. Imagine if I still need to cook after a long hour of work and travel, I'm so lucky that I just have to eat when I arrived. Lucky as to having him as my better half.

I will never ever forget that summer, April of 2016 when everyone seems to be problem free and laugh like we’re young and dumb, we were 4 couples then who went into a road trip, destination? Somewhere in Calatagan in batangas the place was called BUROT, we set our road trip as early as possible, may I remind you that this trip was actually a drunk plan made one day before the said trip, no big plans at all (usapang lasing siya in short). And also, this is my first trip out of town that I got to spend my whole day with my friends.

A lot of funny things happened even before we left the city that day we first fetch Deng and Tanz, and it was the first humor of that day when we are about to fetch Alan and Des, Shomer made Alan run after the van, he was so slow that day and unprepared that he forgot a lot of things the moment he closed the gate shomer hit the road leaving him behind running. It doesn’t end there, when it’s Aris and Sara’s turn, Shomer did the same with Aris unfortunately videos were all deleted, but I bet you all it was funny as eff.

And so we hit the road to Tagaytay, our first stop was in the Tagaytay Mahogany Market, this is where we bought all of the food and things that we need for our beach trip, before we leave the Market we tried the Mahogany Market Eatery on the second Floor of one of the building there, we ordered Bulalo and  it was quite good, this is also the place where I died laughing, one stranger thought or mistakenly thought that Alan was an ice buko vendor Hahaha!! And also where Deng again mistakenly bought a slipper with different size with the other pair.

So after that we had another stop where the boys bought some liquor, another funny thing happened but I couldn’t remember. Anyway I started contacting King Koopa while we’re still in the road he is the contact person where you can rent your tents and some other stuff. I can't seem to remember his name but we jokingly called him King Koopa.

And we’re lost looking for King Koopa, he asked us to look for him in Calatagan market but the thing is there are 2 Calatagan Market, Yes King Koopa, nice prank! Hehe! But no worries we found him anyways! Fast forward to the beach it was not exactly what I was expecting, the place is good but hell it’s crowded! A lot of people that day also decided to go to the beach that we decided to go too. Hell yeah! I'm not over acting, the crowd is wild but we manage to find a good spot but it’s a bit of a long walk from where we parked and the sun is extremely hot and for the second time that month I burned myself.

And so we did what we had to do, play some songs, eat, explore and as much as possible just enjoy, and then before the night came we look for another spot where we can camp and make a bonfire. I had an extreme headache that afternoon that I decided to sleep for awhile. When I woke up all of them are drunk and already having fun! Nice timing headache! But then I wouldn’t want to miss the fun so I went out of our tent and join the gang. And then what happens, happens. It’s like we’re young wild and free.

The finale of our beach trip the next morning is us renting a boat that took us to different sand bar and deep side of the sea.

And then, we went back to King Koopa to return our tents and to clean ourselves up because unfortunately the beach doesn’t have a decent wash room. But then all is well we also had our lunch in King Koopa’s place which is by the way is very nice! So we prepared again for another long trip. We again decided to hit the Tagaytay Road and had our merienda in the Mushroom Burger in Tagaytay and back to Mahogany Market for the cheap price of Meat and went home.

Hmm.. small change… Is there such thing? I don't know, but all I know is small change could make a big difference or impact. Siguro kung pag sasama samahin yung mga small change na gusto ko mangyari sa sarili ko magiging big change siguro yun hehe. Baka lang naman. Gaya ng pagligo araw araw haha!! Oo kadiri ba? Haha sorry naman, malamig kasi dito tapos minsan feeling ko hindi naman ako madumi haha!! Pero siyempre naghihilamos naman ako or pag di ko talaga kaya half bath ganun.

Isa pa siguro na small change na I try my best to change ay yung ma i-express ko yung sarili ko sa ibang tao, I don't know it’s hard for me to show my true feelings or emotions. Unless na lang na sobrang ma-provoke ako hehe. I always think na all of my thoughts are irrelevant and that all of my emotions are not valid. Na hindi mahalaga kung ano man yung suggestions or opinions ko I don't know ganun ako eh.

This past few months that I’m jobless, I would always watch my favorite Filipino TELESERYE as they call it in the Philippines or manood ng mga movies na minsan napanood ko na and ginagawa ko pa rin kahit minsan mejo late na ako nakakuwi from work. Madalas rin  ako sa Netflix at sa kung saan saan pang mga website na pwede makanuod ng replay ng mga American, Korean at siyempre Pinoy series. Yep isa ako sa mga nag-papa loko sa mga teledrama na gawa ng mga Pinoy hehe, bakit ba? OO na baduy na! Ang lupit kaya ng mga drama ng pinoy mamatay na lang ang dami pang nasasabi, lalo na yung mga pulis na huli lagi sa crime scene or pag responde, yung mga akala mo patay na buhay pa pala, lalo na yung mga big reveal na yung isang character na anak pala ng isang character pero hindi mo alam, nakakadala kaya. Mahilig rin ako manuod ng mga indie film hehe maiba lang minsan. Isang Pinoy movie recently and tumatak sa akin, and bes ACTION film siya if you haven’t seen On The Job well you missed half of your movie life napaka ganda!

Aside from watching random series from different genre and country mahilig rin ako tumambay sa Twitter, makibalita man lang sa mga favorite ko na artist, yep adik na adik ako sa mga ganyan, gabi gabi bago ako matulog hindi pwedeng hindi ako sisilip sa Twitter mas mahal ko ang Twitter kesa sa Facebook ko. Reason? Less mosang and less drama, aside from konti lang sa mga kakilala ko ang gumagamit ng twitter kaya mas na e-express ko yung totoong nararamdaman ko doon without people na close or knows me na makaka pansin. I know few friends na gumagamit ng Twitter but I think kebs sila sa mga twitter post ko kaya ang sarap lang mag mura sa twitter kasi walang magtatanong sayo na kung sila ba yung minumura mo! Hahaha! Alam nyo ba na bago pa kumalat ang balita na buntis si ellen adarna kay john lloyd eh na basa ko na yun sa Twitter few days or weeks or months ago I just cant remember when haha! Anyways buntis ba talaga si ellen? Hahah!!

And also aside from the normal ritual na maligo mag toothbrush at mag dasal bago matulog ritual ko na rin ata ang sumilip sa Tumblr, I don't know eto talaga seryoso I always look forward on writing stuff dito sa tumblr eto yata yung public diary ko, yung tipong if gusto mo talaga malaman yung totoong nilalaman ng pag katao ko at lahat ng pinag gagawa at pinag iisip ko silip ka lang dito, akong ako lang to wala ng iba.
