downside is i do it often enough that 'too big' has become bigger over time

anyways, the dilemma isnt actually about the aromanticism. im toying with how to do that and if to do that separately. but you know what blog this is, so you probably have an idea of where this is going. because people think that sex and romance are linked so much, and im torn between wanting to be understood (these are two men who didnt really realize how important they were to one another, discovering that they love each other deeply and thoroughly enough to remind one of them that he's worth preserving, too, even if he's not a human) and wanting to be representative (the human he loves may very well be sexual and aromantic, and if they have sex sometimes casually it represents the way romance and sex and love do not all have to go hand in hand, sometimes you can have sex with someone, love them very much, and have no interest in a romance with that person). anyways. so now im wondering if i should put any sex scenes in the book at all. its of a plot type (slow and character driven) and subject matter (this one could spread but its treated in a heavy and philosophical way that probably wouldnt be as enticing) that isnt as suitable to ya, its very definitely an adult book with how i handle things. so i could do a sex scene. and in fact i think a robot and a human getting it on in the way that my setting's robots and humans would would be very hot.
