Hey y’all! Made some more progress on Project Glory. Daggers now have their own dash ability. And I changed how health is displayed for a more Kingdom Hearts style. But tbh, this might be its last post. I've been bouncing between projects for a while, and I feel like I need to learn some new skills to help get over this bump in the road. Can't wait to share what I make with y'all!

I want to focus on making weapons that feel unique to use. So for now, I’m working on weapon types. So far I have swords, daggers, and shields working, but I have a lot more planned.

Today I’ve learned. Hey.. Sound effects? They are really difficult to make! I plan on testing and re-testing and testing again all of these sound effects until I get them the way that sounds good and isn’t ear grating. This is my first time making sound effects, I am not expecting them to be perfect.

Don’t Give Up: A Cynical Tale is the sarcastic and dark comedic story of Tris, an anti-social game developer and his quest to confront his inner demons. Balance the hilariously dysfunctional tragedy that is your social life while facing off with the phantoms of your inner conscious and those that would claim it alongside action packed freestyle combat.
The story takes place four years after the events of Tris’s mental breakdown, as his inner demons seek once again to consume his mind and unleash a plague of apathy and despair upon his city.
In DON’T GIVE UP: A Cynical Tale you can expect:
An original cynical comedy about overcoming emotional destruction and self discovery
FRESH real time combat system that constantly switches between player and enemy advantage
A charming town FULL of stuff to explore like arcades, strip clubs, burger joints, and over hyped coffee chains

Creatures can now level up in battle if you don’t kill them fast enough!
They also have new skills, and there’s also a side panel with information on every creature in battle.
That plus the newly revamped hud!
