While the fox game I was working on was put on hold to make something smaller, I have been working on this!

Here are two of the antique workers! Niem and Nien! They are twins, though Niem came out first. As such, she claims to be the “old sister” of the two(Despite her being shorter). They love the internet, so much so that they both decided to talk like they are from the year 2000.

This is a little different. Instead of a simple video I wanted to try something unique with devblog updates. A video that talks about the new things than just shows it hoping people understand it. Tell me how you like!

Here we have "Mother". An Android that looks after other Androids. Whenever there is trouble in the community, she is the first to deal with it.

I am thinking about having this as a loading screen. At least the second, darker one. one for each character drawn like this.

Here is something special; Day and night along side a new character! Cythia is mostly done other than some weapons. Next I need to do my other character, but before I have some enemies to finish.

Devblog just sounds a lot better than progress update. So in this video I show off some things I’ve been working on. Hub area is nearing completion. Transferring to the field is nearing completion, shop is pretty much done and so much more. Some weapons I want a sprite rework as well so they work a little cleaner.

It's been a long while since I've updated here so here is an update! Decided to just put this up to speed with the others so I don't have to worry about numbering out of order. Since last update I've added so much. Weapon fusion, a chest, more enemies, fleshed out movement a bit more. A unique animation for double jump, another tileset for the first area, more assets. And finally, money! I still have a lot more I need to do, but for the most part this is finished!

Well, I wanted to upload a gif of the cleaning robot here. But apparently Tumblr doesn’t want me to do that.

Update number 4! Weapon fusion. Certain weapons can be used together to create stronger, more powerful weapons. These stronger weapons not only deal more damage than normal, but change how the dash and drop attack work. In some cases, they even give you a charge attack. I am debating if failing to correctly fuse should destroy a weapon or not, but I think, for now, this is fine.

Modules are the things that upgrade your player during the run. Some give only good effects. Some give good and bad effects, so be careful of the ones you pick up!

Here we have a one-hit shield, or glass armor. It takes one hit and shatters and takes some time to come back. After getting hit it erases all nearby bullets as well.

Here is the final HUB area! The bar! Here, you can talk to the locals, order a drink to make the game harder, or get a random buff from the Nun. Maybe even change the music, who knows!

Here we are, at the Antique shop run by two shorties. The place looks quite run down, but they prefer it look that way. It is an “Antique shop” and things need to look antique.. right? In the future I’d love to draw all the NPCs you can interact with and give some details about them. Maybe when I finish the HUB. Speaking of which, one more place to go then I can add them into the game!

This is a store in the hub where you can buy items and weapons! It is quite convenient wouldn’t you say?

Added some more effects to things like jumping, double jumping, landing, dashing and more. Still gotta fix up some hitboxes here and there. There are four more weapons added in and, if people are interested, I can show off all weapons in the future! Else I shall keep some a secret. (Well, some will still be a secret) I’d like to get to a point where once people can test it I can ask people what I should work on next. Next update will be title screen and the Hub!.. Next week hopefully.
